17. Don't tell

"Good news it's not broken. You just bruised it badly." Neon said after she Finished wrapping it in gauze.

"Thanks." I said standing up.

Adrenaline and I walked back to her room. She sat and the bed and motioned for me to sit by her.

"I was so worried! Why'd you run off like that?" She said.

"Adrenaline I'm sorry I shouldn't have ok? I just needed to get out for a little while." I said grabbing her hand and holding it.

"Listen I'm sorry I can't marry you. I just-"

I interrupted her. "Listen it's fine! I've thought about it and I can wait!"

Adrenaline wants to wait, so I will wait for her. She smiled slightly and asked.

"Whose house did you go to?"

"I went to this girl Luna's house."

Should I tell her the reason? I don't want to worry her. She will think it's her fault and it's not.

"Oh I don't think I know her..." Adrenaline said.

"Yeah I think she's from zone 4." I said.

"We should probably get some lunch." Adrenaline said softly.

"Nah I'm not hungry. You can though." I said.

She gave me a quick peck on the cheek and walked towards to kitchen.

Should I tell her? I don't want to lie to her. But you promised her. You promised Party.

They don't have to know.

You can have drinks if you want.

You can kill yourself if you want.

No one cares.

"Ugh." I said laying down on the bed. I closed my eyes and felt myself drift to sleep.

"Hey wake up sleepy head!" Ghoul said shaking me awake.

"What." I groaned.

"We are going on a drac hunt you want to come?"

"No I'm good." I said sitting up.

"Oh ok." Ghoul said before walking out of the room.

I followed him into the kitchen where everyone was sitting at the table.

"You coming with us?" Adrenaline asked.

I didn't want to let her down but I just wasn't feeling it. I wanted to sleep forever. I felt like my depression was getting worse. Maybe the drinking didn't help. I honestly wanted to die. I almost killed myself last night.

"Nah."

"I'll stay with you." Neon said.

Wait Neon is staying with me? This is going to be really interesting,

"We have to get going." Party said giving Neon a kiss on the cheek. Everyone walked right out the door. Adrenaline gave me a hug before she left too.

There was silence for a few minutes after they left. It was really awkward not gonna lie.

"So tell me about last night." Neon said sitting on the couch by me.

I was not prepared for this. It caught me completely off guard. I felt my inside turn into jelly. My eyes started to water.

"I can't keep living like this." I let my emotions spill out. I felt like I could trust her.

"What do you mean?" Neon asked visibly concerned.
