Taylor's POV

"Mom?" I hear a little voice say.

Were walking up the driveway to my parents house, Annie in my arms, and my hand in Rose's.

"Yeah Rosie?" I say looking down at her as we continued to walk.

Her grip tightened.

"I'm nervous."

I laughed silently to myself. How could anybody be nervous to meet my family?"

I gave her a small reassuring smile.

"Don't worry." I said.

"Okay," I hear her say under her breath as we approach the door.

I ring the door bell, and It immediately opens. I could tell my mom was waiting by the door waiting for us to come.

"Hi Mom!" I said excitedly putting Annie down.

"HI TAYLOR!" She said pulling me into a hug. She quickly released, and looked at the little girls standing next to me.

"Hi girls!" She said bending down to their level. "You must be Miss Annie," she said tickling Annie under the chin. "And you must be Rose!" She said.

I could feel Rose latch on to me. I gave her an encouraging shove towards my Mom, who gave her a hug. By the time she released Rose, she had a huge smile on her face.

"I'm your Nana." She said.

Annie smiled and jumped into her arms.

"I'm Annie!" She said, being picked up by my mother.

"I'm almost fouwe, and I like to colow!"

"I like to color too!" My mom said smiling.

Annie grinned her baby tooth smile.

"Well come on in, the whole gangs here." She said motioning for us to come in. I took Rose's hand and followed my Mom inside. Once were inside, she shut the door behind us.

"Scott? Austin?" She called, "They're here!"

My dad came in, wearing a huge smile.

"Hey! There are my favorite girls!"

"Hi Dad," I said giving him a hug and a kiss.

"And who are these two young ladies?!" He said looking at Rose and Annie.

The girl introduced themselves, and Austin wandered in and the same thing repeated.

"Okay guys," My mom said leading us into the dinning room. "It's time to eat."

My Mom had made Roasted Chicken, with veggies, it was delicious!

During lunch, my parents and brother continued to get to know the girls, and ask them about how our trip to California trip was. They went on and on about the Ellen show Disneyland, and meeting my friends of course. After lunch was finished, bellies were full, and dishes were washed, my mom suggested that Austin go swimming with the girls at the lake. I changed them into their swimsuits, put their floaties on (I was going to sign them up for swimming lessons soon!) warned Austin about their lack of swimming abilities and bid them farewell. After they left, me my Mom and my Dad sat down in the living room to chat.

"First let me just say Tay, their so great. I love them to pieces already." My mom said sitting down on the couch next to me.

"Thank you," I said taking her hand.

I looked at my dad who was sitting across from us.

"I just can't believe I'm a grandpa! I mean, am I really that old?" We both laughed.

"So what's your game plan?" My dad says, I smile at one of his many sports references.

"Well, I plan on enrolling the girls at this amazing private school in NYC. Its about 10 minutes away by car from my house, but you can walk in 20. Rose will be going into 2nd grade. And only a couple blocks from my house is a great preschool that Annie will go to until she's old enough to go to the other school."

"Sounds great," my mom says. "But what about when you're away? Or on tour?"

"Well, I have thought about this, and I found a fantastic sitter named Jessica, who specializes in this kind of thing. But also, I was thinking, that I could buy you two an apartment in NYC, mostly if you want to come visit, or I need to go away and you two are available..."

"That sounds perfect!" My mother said grinning, my father nodded in agreement.

We went on to talk more about the girls, my career, my life etc. When suddenly we heard the back door open and little feat come pattering in. The girls came in screaming with delight, as their uncle Austin chased after them.

"I'm gonna get you!" A soaking wet Austin said running after an even wetter Rose. She squealed with delight. He eventually caught her and tossed her over his arm and proceeded to catch Annie, who had already run to the living room to me, screaming and laughing. Austin ran in with Rose.

"Ah ha! I found her!"

Annie jumped on the couch and crawled behind where me and my mom were sitting, getting the couch soaked.

I was glad in that moment that my mom was a "messy fun" kind of person, and could not care less that her couch was getting soaked because her granddaughters were having a blast.

Austin eventually got Annie, and sat down on the floor in front of us with the girls in his lap.

"So I'm guessing you three had a good time!?" I said.

They all exploded to chatter telling us about how they had the best time at the lake.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at my parents house. Rose, Austin and I had an epic nerf gun fight around the house and in the back yard, while Annie did art projects with my mom. Then, Rose got tired and went to go join them with their art projects so me and Austin battled it out. Then Annie came out and we had another lower intense nerf gun fight. At the end of the day we went home with 2 dream catchers, 2 personalized (with drawings) plates, many many pictures, and the success of beating Austin.

We said good bye to my parents and Austin (even though we were going to see them tomorrow at my house for brunch. And drove home. The minute I pulled out of the parking lot, I turned to see 2 little girls fast asleep.
