Taylor's POV
"Taylor? Taylor?" I hear someone whisper, as they gently rub my shoulder.
I slowly open my eyes, and see Calvin standing in front of me.
I stretch, and I feel the pain shoot through me. I slept in a hospital chair last night, and I'm starting to feel it in my neck.
"How'd you sleep?" He says crouching down in front of the chair.
"Good," I say curling back up into a ball and exhaling.
He chuckles and kisses my forehead. He then walks over to the hospital bed, where Annie is still asleep in the same position.
"How is she?" I ask sleepily.
"Fine," he answers. "They gave her some fluids earlier this morning."
"Calvin how long have you been awake?"
"I never went to sleep." He answers, not facing me.
"What?!" I said standing up and walking towards him.
"Baby, you need to get some sleep." I said standing in back of him, and wrapping my arms around him.
"No it's fine, I'll be okay."
"No, really Calvin. Get some sleep."
He looked up at me. His green orbs looking into mine.
"But what about you?" He asked.
"I'll be fine." I said stroking his cheek.
"Okay, but five more minutes." He said turning back to Annie.
I smiled, and watched as he rubbed his thumb across her tiny hand. He realized that I was watching, and he patted his lap for me to come sit in it.
"She looks so peaceful." I said quietly, settling into his lap.
"Yeah," he said softly.
"Calvin?" I asked.
"Yes?"
"Do you think she can hear us?"
"Only one way to find out."
I lean over a little bit, so I'm closer to Annie.
"Hey Annie!" I say quietly, but loud enough for Calvin to hear. "It's Mommy and Calvin, and we just wanted to say we love you so much, and you can wake up whenever your ready. Rosie misses you so much Ann, and we do too. I love you so much." I said and kissed her forehead.
I leaned back on Calvin. Tears rolling down my cheek.
"Come on," he said, and stood up. He took my hand and we started to walk out of the room, but a voice stopped up in our tracks.
"I love you too."
