Chapter 16

Taylor's POV

"Taylor! Taylor over here!" They all seemed to shout. But I knew it was my job, so I continued to pose and look at all the flashing cameras.

It was VMA day, and I was on the red carpet. Although I was super excited, I missed the girls. This was the first time I had ever been apart from them. But I tried not to think about it. All my friends from my bad blood squad were already inside the theater.

"So Taylor, you've just released your new album 1989!"

"I know! It's so exciting releasing an album and hearing what people think about it, especially since I've decided to change it up a bit."

I was getting tired. This was the 8th interview I had done on the red carpet, and everybody asked the same questions, and I gave them all the same answers.

As the lady was about to ask another question, we heard a loud voice say "ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats." It was like an angel calling down from above. I quickly left and headed towards my seat.

As I began walking down the long isles, I wondered who I would be sitting next to. I hadn't brought a guest with me, and the girls from my bad blood squad were sitting in a different section.

I reached where I was supposed to be sitting and saw none other than Calvin Harris sitting to the right of me.

"Hello," he said in his charming Scottish accent. "I'm Calvin." He stood up, and we hugged.

"I'm Taylor!" I said as we both sat down.

"Congrats on the newish album, its really good."

"Aw, thank you!"

"Do you think you'll win video of the year for Bad Blood?"

"I don't know," I said nervously. "But those girl are so amazing, so I hope we do!" I said point to the people sitting 2 rows in back of us. It was odd that we couldn't sit together, but I didn't make the seating arrangements.

Me and Calvin talked some more, he was super sweet (and hot!) until our conversations ended with me being rushed back stage.

I changed into my costume and got ready to preform.

"THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG!" I sang. I could hear the crowds scream in excitement and confusion.

See me and Nicki had a little bit of a fight, but we made up quickly and thought we should defy gravity by preforming together.

"AND SO ARE WE"

I walked over to where Nicki was, and we continued to sing. Soon the song ended, and a new track started to play.

"CUZ BABY NOW WE GOT BAD BLOOD!"

The crowd screamed so loud!

After we finished, I hugged Nicki and walked off stage.

I was so excited for the girls to see that. I told my mom to let them watch it, but mute out all the potentially inappropriate parts....

When I got back to my seat, Calvin high fived me and we took some selfies.

The night went on, and I was so happy! I just kept winning and winning, AND WE WON BEST VIDEO! Me and the girls were so happy!

After the show was over, me and my squad went to an epic after party and partied (and ate A LOT).

"Bye guys! I love you!" I seemed to say over and over bidding them all farewell.

It was 3am, and I was standing in the parking lot of the night club.
