Sooooo....... This kinda died a horrible death. I kinda pulled a Jessica with MCD 😅. I'm really sorry for the silence if any of you are still looking at this. Life got the best of me again.
I'm going to be kinda going over what's happened in the last 6 years since I last updated.
Myself and my child's father split up in 2023 after nearly 14 years together. I wasn't able to afford to rent a place myself for me and my kiddo. So I had to move back in with my parents at 29 years old. I'm still in their house as of now.
I started dating someone new. He makes me deliriously happy. Night and day to my old relationship. He and I have been together for 3 years. He was a long time friend before he became my boyfriend. (We started dating a few months after my split with my ex. Things were very tumultuous at the end)
I went back to school, and am now a college educated woman. I took Addictions and Community Support Worker for schooling.
I'm currently working two jobs trying to play catch up on all my bills that got behind while in school.
I got my license (finally) in 2024, and am now trying to get my own car.
And finally, with school done and whatnot, I'm hoping to get my own apartment this year. A place for me and my now almost 16 year old kiddo to live in.
I do fully intend on finishing this story. But since it's been so long, and my notebook with all my ideas is in a storage unit, I just haven't had the time, or the emotional bandwidth to focus on this.
I am very sorry for dipping on this. I do appreciate if any of you still look at my stuff, and keep your eyes on things. I do have a chapter in the works. Just haven't had the time to work on it more.
