The moment of satisfaction: my period is finally over.

Life feels good. Teron feels even better.

Sitting in our room, my mind drifts back to the first day of my period. Not because of the embarrassment or the mess, but because of him.

The way he took care of me.

The way his eyes softened with understanding.

I remember sitting in that corner, wishing the floor would swallow me whole. And I remember realizing, somewhere in the middle of all that embarrassment, that I could trust him completely.

And before I know it, I'm recreating the moment.

I pull on one of his oversized T-shirts and settle into the same corner where I'd hidden that day.

Suddenly, Teron entered the room. His gaze fell on me, and he frowned slightly.

"What are you doing?"

I was caught off guard. "Uh... nothing."

When I shook my head, his gaze swept over me before a small smile appeared on his lips.

"You're not about to steal another T-shirt of mine, are you?"

I rolled my eyes. "It's already stolen."

A laugh escaped him as he gently pulled me toward him.

"By the way, you look so hot like this-open messy hair, my T-shirt, no bottoms. Even during your period, I was mesmerized. You looked so beautiful, even in that mess. I love you, Mansi."

I felt my cheeks warm.

"I love you more. I was so embarrassed, and I still am."

He smiled, moving me back to the same corner. "I found you right here, in my light blue tee with light grey briefs, eyes full of embarrassment, wondering why this had to happen in front of your boyfriend. You wanted to disappear, to cry. But do you know what I saw?"

"What?"

"I saw you—beautiful, strong, vulnerable... real. Nothing to be ashamed of. You think that moment was messy, something to hide, but to me, it was everything. It showed me a side of you I hadn't seen before—raw and human. In that moment, I knew I wanted to care for you even more."

He gently tucked my loose strands of hair behind my ears and softly brushed his thumb across my lips. His fingers lingered briefly against my skin, warm and reassuring.

"Red cheeks, red lips, then hesitation. Tugging at the t-shirt to hide the stains, blinking away tears, clutching my shirt, asking me to leave with your words, but wanting me to stay with your heart.

You were afraid I'd think less of you, but all I wanted was to be there for you, and tell you that none of it mattered. It wasn't pity I felt; it was love."
