Chapter 38 (Last chapter imsry m8)

Miku's POV:

*8 months later*

Okay, reader, time for an update. New Years was a blast, and we got to perform on live TV. Me and KAITO got in a few fights, but nothing too bad. We finished recording Acute, and everyone seemed to love it. Luka and Len did the dirty, and Nero and Rin were officially a couple. Now it was time for my birthday.

I sit in a frozen yogurt shop at a round table occupied with Rin and Luka. They weren't throwing me a surprise party, but they wanted me out of the house while it was being planned. "This stuff is the shit." Rin says, mouth full of orange flavored frozen yogurt, topped with Willie Wonka's entire chocolate factory. Litterally. Luka just had plain strawberry, and I had chocolate, topped with M&Ms and other candies.

Rin notices us staring at her yogurt, and frowns. "What?" she says, causing chocolate chips to fall out of her mouth. Luka laughs, but it actually turns into a snort because she was eating her frozen yogurt. She gets a few stares from other customers, and me and Rin start laughing uncontrollably. She frowns and flicks some of her yogurt at me.

"FOOD FI-" I shove my hand over Rin's mouth before she can continue. She glares at me as I take my hand away. "Why not?" she whines, like a child. "Because, this yogurt is good and I do not want to get kicked out." I reply. She rolls her eyes and continues eating.

Luka's phone buzzes on the table, and look over and see a text from Len.

Party's ready, come when you're ready. Love you ;) -Len

Rin gags on her yogurt and I roll my eyes, getting up from my chair and tossing my cup in the trash along with Rin and Luka. We exit the small shop and leave the mall, making our way to Luka's car. I hop into the passenger seat and Rin gets into the back seat.

"You're going to love this party, Miku." Rin says. And smile and nod, giddy with excitement.

We arrive to our house and Luka pulls into the large driveway. I see a banner hanging from the porch roof that says, "Happy Birthday, Miku!" I blush and get out of the car, walking in between Luka and Rin to the door.

"Open it." Luka whispers to me, and I smile at both of them. I grab the handle and, slowly, turn it. When the door is open all the way, the lights turn on, and I see everyone gathered in the small living room, KAITO, MEIKO, and Len in front of the door.

I hear "Birthday Song for Miku" start to play, and the twins start off, singing their part.

Everyone else starts singing along with them, "Happy birthday, Happy birthday, to you." All of a sudden, Rin pushes me forwards and towards MEIKO, who starts singing her part. I blush madly as she twirls me around and back to Rin, who sings her part aswell.

"Kimi ni aitai," KAITO's deep voice says from behind me, and I turn around and smile at him. "Sobo ni itai na," Luka sings, followed by MEIKO who sings, "Nani ga suki nano?" I smile and KAITO takes my hand, pulling me ontop of the coffee table. 

I smile like an idiot as they all sing the chorus of the song to me. I notice that everyone else sings along with them, and Kay and Val sing my lines, because I'm watching the performance. Then, without warning, the music stops. The lights turn off, and a few people scream.

Then the door opens. I don't notice the figure at first, but then she comes into focus. "Zatsune." I spit, venom dripping from my words. My sister evilly smiles and flips the lights back on, slowly walking towards me.

"I must say, that was quite a performance." she starts. I hop down from the table and KAITO wraps an arm around me, protecting me. "It would be a shame if someone were to, say, ruin it." she smiles again and stops right in front of me.

"Oh, relax. I'm not going to hurt her." Zatsu says, glaring at KAITO. He tightens his grip. She rolls her eyes and moves on, walking slowly around the room. I see Kay grab Val's hand, to which she flinches. Zatsune stops in front of the pair and maniacally smirks. "I don't think I recognize you two. Mind telling me who you are?" she says.

"What's it to you." Kay growls, and my sister jumps a bit. She leans down so her head is level with Kay's. I swallow a lump that has formed in my throat. Zatsune lowers her voice, so quiet that I almost can't hear her. But I do.

"Listen here, little girl. If I were you, I wouldn't speak that way to me. Because I do not have good intentions already here, and we wouldn't want to make them even worse, now would we?" she bats her eyelashes and leans up, and I see tears in Kay's eyes. Val seems to notice to, because she speaks up.

"If I were you, I wouldn't talk that way to her while I'm around." she growls, and my sister looks back and walks over to Val. "Is that so? What are you gonna do, kid?" she says. Something seems to snap within Val, because she starts to lunge forward, but Gakupo steps forward and holds her back.

"Alright, enough. Why are you even here, Zatsune? Come to taunt little girls? Does that make your cold heart happy?" Gakupo says, and my sister walks to the coffee table in the middle of the room, where I was standing only a few moments ago.

"Actually, the reason I came here today is to show you all a knew invention I have been working on. You guys don't mind being my little guinea pigs, do you?" she says, and the room stays silent. "I'll take that as a yes. Sadly, this will only work on the VOCALOIDs and UTAULOIDs and the other LOIDs for some reason, but I don't see any harm in having only three of you keep your memory."

"'Keep their memory'?" KAITO says. "What the hell's that supposed to mean?!" "You're about to find out. Zatsu says, smiling again. She stalks over to the speakers and starts playing Portrait of the Pirate F. She pulls a small gun-like object out of her back pocket and aims it at a group of people near the back of the room. A light flashes, blinding me for a moment, and then they people that she aimed the gun at lay unconcious on the ground.

"Memory wiper. The knockout shouldn't last very long, but when they wake up they won't remember a thing." Zatsune says. "Now, shall we begin?" she says, and aims the gun at a few more groups of people and they drop to the ground aswell. Now only the main 8, Val, Kay, and Aikae remain.

"I hope you won't be missed, dear sister." Zatsune says, and then aims the gun at us. I hear a loud whistle-like sound, and then everything goes black. I start to see flashbacks of my life. My first concert, my first kiss with KAITO, my previous birthday parties. 

Then, slowly, my world f a  d   e    s     .      ..       .................

Aikae's POV:

I slowly get up, trying to rub away the pain in my head. I groan, and I hear Kay and Val getting up as well. Zatsune was nowhere to be seen. I check the clock and see that it was 11:27 pm. About ten minutes after Zatsune wipes everyone's memory. I finally get up along with Val and Kay, and we search the room, looking for people that are awake, but everyone is still asleep.

"What do we do?!" Kay exclaims, and starts to panick. Val starts to calm her down as I continue searching the room. All of a sudden, I see Mayu's pinkie move. "Mayu?" I slowly whisper, and she slowly gets up. "I still remember everything, how-?" she whispers to me. I shrug in reply, honestly not know the answer.

"We have to go." I say, and Val and Kay walk over to me, along with Mayu. "Where though?" Val says, and I shrug. "Guess we'll have to play homeless for a while. Unless Mayu has some spare money." I say, and look at her. 

Mayu nods and reaches into her pocket, pulling out a few hundred dollar bills. "Last time I checked, this was $1,500.00" she says, and I nod. "Perfect. We have to spend it wisely, so we can't go off buying clothes. Grab your phones, everyone. I have a feeling that we can't stay here." and as soon as I say it, Kay, Val, and Mayu run upstairs to grab there phones.

I sigh, looking around the mansion. I may not have been here for very long, but I can tell that we had a lot of great adventures in this place. I guess you could call them

*bows* ikik fab ending ik. Im so sorry I had to end it here, but this story was starting to be so long, and I couldn't wait any longer to end it so I did a huge time jump. I will probably start writing a sequel to this in a few weeks, but I can't promise that it will come out tomorrow. Cuz that's crazy. -Kay
