I never found myself liking history that much. I mean its the past, why would I care about that right? During school I hardly paid attention it didn't really matter to me but history is an important thing to know and even more so when you find yourself in Sinistral.
When Actros had asked me the question if I really wanted to know, even if my whole body couldn't have cared less or I knew it would be so confusing I knew I had to know. It was the only way this crazy idea of me being chosen and having to destroy the core would make any sense. There was no way out of it. No way around it.
Ever watch horrible history's? Well I couldn't even bring myself to watch that. One because it's for kids and I'm not kid, well I always try to convince myself that. Two because I hate history even if its in a stupid TV show. Don't hate me for it, we aren't all cracked up to listen to a load of crap that happened years ago.
But the way Actros made me see it. The horror that happened to Sinistral made me come to realize some history you need to know!
At first I didn't recognize either one of the figures but once they had got closer I knew who one of them was, its Actros but maybe a tad younger if that's even possible.
I went to talk to Actros about it but he wasn't next to me and Zack anymore. He was standing inches from the two figures. "Yes that is me, many years ago."
"But you said you was born in that other place...what's it called again?" Zack asked puzzled.
"You must watch, I will fill in all the pieces later," he whispers to us. We both nod even though I think we were both thinking the same thing. What is he hiding from us?
"You said you would be on my side forever. You said my ideas would always rain over everyone else. You said nothing would happen as long as we support each other," whispered the figure I didn't know.
"I know I did but things change and this is not my home," the young Actros said in a whisper.
"No you can't do this!" he shouts.
"I can and I am. I've got to go. I'm sorry Lucas."
"You will pay for what you have done. I will prove that my ideas can come to life. One day you will pay for leaving me. One day I'll take my revenge. No one will be able to stop me. Sinistral will suit its name when I'm done."
"Lucas...I'll help you. I will but not yet, please. I must go home see him," the young Actros whispered.
"You mean the betrayer?!" he snapped.
"He isn't a betrayer. He just doesn't support your ideas as much as me. He was my friend way before you don't act like you didn't know that when we met. I told you the truth all the time," the young Actros says.
"Yes but still you said it didn't matter what he thinks!"
"No but he is still my friend as much as you are," he said so softly I could barley hear him.
"Who is he?" I whisper to Actros.
"Not yet, you will find out soon enough."
The scene suddenly changed. Everything dissolved around us. A new image began to take place. I saw a waterfall in the distance. A shadow reflecting of the water until my eyes focused more.
It was that guy again but this time he looked different. Almost like a person you get in those mazes at Halloween. I've been in a couple but not too many but he looked exactly like that. It almost would have freaked me out if he was in a dark alley but the waterfall seemed to take all that away.
"This doesn't explain why Sinistral is the way it is?" Zack asked puzzled.
"Patience, it soon will!"
