I will only ever have one best friend. Maybe I was being, thoughtless and still right now I think Zack is all I really need. I'm not going to wrap this up in anything but the truth. Amelia wasn't all there, you could tell that by just seeing her. Those eyes, lost, confused, like a shell only remained but something was there.

Still beneath, below all that. If you can guess, I wasn't the one to break her out of that, Zack was.

Zack is smart, he can dig deep, become close to you. I mean I wouldn't blame anyone who wanted Zack as there friend, because I can't see myself with out Zack anymore. Zack is and will always be my best friend, no matter what. I wanted to have trust, to become friends with Amelia, in a way I did but as I said I need no one else and just say I'm glad I had that thought within my head all the way throughout being in the tunnel.

The girl who stood in front of us looked as if she had seen all the horrors Zack and I had already seen here in Sinistral all at once, she stood so silent and so still as if afraid she would collapse if she took another step, her breaths were short and quick, she looked shattered.

"I...what...who...are you?" she asked stumbling all over her words. Zack looked at me, his eye brows raised.

Zack put up both his hands as if he was being held at gun point, this only made her stumble backwards, she almost fell but managed to stay upright by gripping the icy walls with both hands tight, not once taking her fearful eyes of us. He spoke slowly and calmly "It's ok," he said. "We're not going to hurt you."

She looked down and sobbed silently to herself, then after about a minute or so she looked up and started slowly moving backwards "Get back," she said to Zack her voice was chocked, "Stay away from me."

Zack immediately jumped into to defend us "You don't have to worry," he said quietly "You can trust us." This only made her mad "I don't trust anyone!" she snapped looking at Zack as if she wanted to beat him to a pulp.

Zack finally got the message and retreated backwards, away from her, he turned to look at me, he looked concerned "She needs help," he said quietly so that she couldn't hear what he was saying, he turned his head to look at her, then looked back at me, his face more serious, he didn't say anything as if waiting for me to answer. I did. "We don't know her," I said firmly looking at her then back at Zack.

Zack sighed "Well," he said with a little confidence. "We cant just pretend she isn't here." As much as I hate to admit it, he was right. She definitely did not look like she should be left alone any longer, and we were the only ones here, we had to help her.

I nod my head. "Alright but we can't force her to come with us, as I don't think we should just stand here. We have to at least look around," I say softly. The girl stared at us, then she turned and walked back down the corridor. "I'm coming, stop shouting at me mum!" she screamed. I looked at Zack quickly. "What do you think is wrong with her?" I ask. "Seeing things, hallucinating I'm not sure but maybe we should follow her," Zack says.

I was reluctant, we had no idea who she was but Zack seemed eager to help her and only because of Zack I started to follow her down the tunnel, Zack beside me, we walked slowly cautiously as we didn't know what we were letting ourselves in for. She could be anyone I thought, there could be more people like her down here, hell there could be anything down here.

We had caught up with her, she had stopped walking and was now sitting on the cold hard floor, her head buried in her arms. I could make out gentle sobbing, Zack picked up the pace but was careful not to let her notice, he stopped a few inches away from her "Are you okay?" he asked her in a gentle voice.

She didn't look up, she didn't move, she didn't do anything apart from carry on gently sobbing to herself.

Zack crouched down slowly and put a hand on her knee "What happened, what did you see," he had made a mistake as she flinched almost instantly Zack had touched her, she jumped to her feet so fast she almost lost her balance in the process "I told you to stay away from me!" she screamed, her eyes were now full of rage she was looking down at Zack who was still crouching, "Just leave me alone, please," her voice almost broke when she said this. Zack steadied himself, I guess he had enough of her pushing herself away from us like this because what he said next shocked her as well as me.
