Unexpected

Everyone runs out of the house into the dark forest the fireworks lighting up the dark sky. A tall spider like monster emerges from the hill the same one you once saw in your dreams. Grabbing Nancy's arm you look to her "what the fuck is that!?" no one answers. Everyone quickly disperses Nancy and Johnathan going towards the shed while Max, Lucas, Mike, and El go towards the house. Deciding to follow Nancy she opens the creaky shed doors turning on the hanging light bulb. Here she grabs the shot gun handing it to you "go help the other" she directs you. Nodding you turn back to the house running shot gun in hand mentally preparing yourself. Placing the shot gun on a table you go and help Max close doors and move things to block any entrances. Nancy comes in to help Johnathan move a red velvet couch against a door. "Hey get away from the windows" Nancy directs the kids before handing you a shovel she brought in from the shed. Everyone gets into a circle backs against each other Nancy cocks the gun as Johnathan holds up an axe. It's silent eerily silent the only thing you could hear was breathing plus a giant rumble. Dishes clank against each other from the other room as lights begin to flicker "it's close..." Will mutters. The rumbling doesn't stop nor does everyone's shallow breathing a glass falls from a shelf making you jump. A branch snaps outside before it completely goes silent "where'd it go?" Max asks. No one reply's everyone waits for something anything to happen but nothing does. Suddenly a long slimy arm with teeth comes flying through the wall straight towards you. You immediately hit it with your shovel with no luck it's still intact.

Screaming you back up into a wall with Max grabbing her shoulder pulling her close. The monster goes after El it's long teeth extending out. Johnathan hits it with his axe landing a few blows before it sends him flying. His axe gets knocked out of his hand falling to the floor the makes his was to him before quickly changing it's target. Nancy's shoots it more than once officially pissing it off once and for all. Right as everything seems to be going right her gun jams leaving her helpless. The monster lunges towards her its teeth out ready to bite her face off. You close your eyes not wanting to see the grisly outcome that will transpire. Instead of hearing screaming, crying, or yelling you hear the creatures shrieks of pain. Opening your eyes you see El holding her arm out stopping the creature from attacking Nancy. El proceeds to successfully cut its head off as the creature retreats it arm you and Max move out of the way. "Holy shit" Max looks up to you letting out a breath of relief it's quickly taken back. Two monster arms come flying through the walls both of their mouths aiming for El. The arms get stopped once again by her they being shrieking in pain trying desperately to attack. El yells pulling both of their heads off with just the sheer force of whatever powers she possesses. You squeeze Max's shoulder before letting go immediately being put back into fight or flight mode as once again another arm breaks though. This time it wasn't through the wall it came through the roof the creature towered over the house. The arms you once saw now came from the creatures mouth grabbing El's ankle and dragging her away. Mike runs over grabbing her wrist you drop your shovel you quickly running over grabbing onto El's other wrist. Mike and Johnathan follow before Max and Will join in. The monster roars fighting against you for El "pull!!" Mike yells.

You try pulling even harder than you were before but it was hard when an unknown monster with millions of teeth was trying to kill you. You hear Nancy pump the shot gun "Nancy shoot it!!" Jonathan yells "come on!!" you look back to her. The shot gun was jamming the perfect timing for it to be broken was now. You look back to El slowly losing your grip from hope sweaty your palms were. "Lucas!!" Max yells out you hear a shot and then another Nancy finally got the gun to work. The monster roars you feel a wet substance hit your face shuttering you continue to pull. Lucas yells and a shots get fired forced to the ground you prop yourself up on your elbows. The monsters arm is severed Mike rips the severed monster arm off El throwing it to the side. You watch as El gets up the monster roaring once again its saliva going everywhere. El puts her hands up yelling the monsters head being ripped apart. Slimy goo goes everywhere "go! go! go!" Nancy yells as you get up grabbing Max's wrist. Johnathan moves the red couch away from the door as Mike helps El. Everyone runs to Nancy's car you open the door pushing Max in before getting in yourself. Everyone piles into the car "drive!!" you yell as the monster begins to regain its head. "Come on!!" you grip the drivers headrest looking through the windshield. Nancy begins to drive off you hear the monsters roars get fainter.
