*ZARA'S POV*

Lying on the cold dirty floor she hears a cock of a gun not daring to move. It was silent someone said something in russian she thought this was the end. She didn't even get to see y/n for all she knew y/n was dead or missing! All of a sudden the sound of a cars emergency sirens blared. They kept going before hearing a loud crash against the food stand. Steve was the first to pear over the counter slowly peaking out. Zara quickly gets up looking over seeing the car upside down lying against the counter. She looks up seeing Nancy, Johnathan, and about 5 kids. Everyone runs to the middle of the food court to meet up. "I dont understand what happened to that car?" Robin asks looking around. "El has superpowers" Dustin's smile pointing to the short haired girl in a neon yellow shirt. "I'm sorry?" Robin looks at El What!?" Zara exclaims. "She threw it with her mind" Steve explains pointing to his head. "Who's El?" Robin asked the question Zara was dying to know. "I'm sorry who are you?" Nancy's brows furrow pointing to Robin. "I'm Robin i work with Steve" Zara looks from Robin to Steve to El taking in everything. "Well everything worked out didn't it?" Dustin glares at Steve. Listening to everyone going on about russians Zara tries to comprehend what the hell is even happening. "Wait where's y/n!?" Zara butts in "i told her to meet us here" Nancy snaps her head to look at her. "What!? but where is she!?" Zara immediately thinks of all the things that are going wrong. "She's at Bradley's Big Buy just down the street" Nancy's brows furrow obviously not understanding Zara's worry. "You expected her to walk here!?" Zara angrily lunges her hands into her pockets digging for her keys. Just then she hears a thud on the floor looking back El was lying there writhing.

*Y/N'S POV*

You feel a pit in your stomach you remembered telling Nancy you would meet up with her. "Billy?" you ask looking into his breathtaking ocean eyes. "Y/n?" he smirks that same smirk that gives you butterflies. "I told my friend id meet them at the Starcourt Mall..." you break eye contact feeling bad asking him for a favor in his state. He doesn't speak let alone ask any questions instead leaning down kissing your forehead. "Of course" you felt his hot breath on your skin feeling the butterflies bubble over. It felt like your stomach was about to explode this was perfect if only he could always be this affectionate. As he sits up he guides you up with him letting you crawl into the passenger seat first. He gets into the drivers seat starting his car and pulling out of the parking lot. He reaches over pressing a button music starts to flow through the car. Your heart flutters it was your tape the tape you both listened to lying in bed together. You wanted to express how much this meant to you however you stayed silent not wanting to ruin the moment.

*ZARA'S POV*

Zara just watched as slimy red fleshy worm crawl out of El's ankle. They just met up with 2 new people both of them being partners of the kids. Everyone sat in the food court discussing the russians and the monster. The only thing she was worried about was y/n she hasn't heard from her in a while. "So let me be clear this big fleshy spider thing that was inside of El... is some kinda weapon?" Steve asks the man who is now holding El. "Yes" Nancy immediately answers "so it's melted people?" Steve looks around "yes exactly" Nancy again reassures Steve he isn't dreaming. Shuttering Zara tries to block out the image of whatever that fleshy monster is. "Are we sure that thing is still alive?" the brunette women asks. "El beat the shit out of it but yeah... it's still alive" Max looks at her. "Wait you said y/n was with you right?" Zara questions remembering what Nancy said. "Yeah" the red head girl nods "so she saw that monster?" the red hair girls eyes dart away. "Yes she saw it" Nancy quickly answers trying to move the conversation elsewhere. Zara stands up angrily "wait so she's out there with that monster and you're just okay with that!?" Nancy glares at Zara "we trust her i'm sure she's fine." Zara lets out a scoff of course y/n is tough but that fleshy monster could easily destroy her. Just imagining what a big fleshy monster 10 times bigger than the tiny slug that climbed out of El's ankle made her skin crawl. Trying to butt back into the conversation was unsuccessful Zara angrily walks away towards the front doors. She couldn't believe Nancy called herself y/n friend when she obviously couldn't care less where y/n was. Walking outside there is a big yellow car sitting on the pavement. "Toddfather...?" Zara mutters under her breath reading the license plate mentally cringing to herself. Looking into the parking lot Zara search for her car praying she parked it in the front. Groaning she remembers she parked it in the back turning around to the door she sees Steve, Robin, Dustin, and the other kid. "This is what i'm talking about!" Steve smiles pointing at her Zara's face lights up. Was this it? Did Steve really feel the same? Steve walks right past her to the yellow car "Toddfather?" Robin questioned. "Oh screw Todd" Steve laughs "Steve's her daddy now!" Zara cringes even harder now turning around to face them. It was one thing that her father was named Todd but it was another thing that Steve called himself daddy. "Hey! wait for me!" Zara shouts out quickly running to the car jumping over the doors falling onto the red seats.
