Your alarm rings you roll out of bed putting on a denim dress with no sleeves, a big brown belt, white leg warmers, and chunky white hoop earrings. The clock reads 11:50 just enough time to get to Billy's house. Riding to his house you feel the summer heat on your skin nothing like the autumn air you once enjoyed. Stopping outside his house Max comes storming out slamming the from door behind her. "Hey!" you shout waving to her she looks at you with disbelief "what are you doing here?" she asks walking up to you. "I'm here for my walkman" you smile getting off your bike she rolls her eyes and doesn't respond. You don't mind she never seemed to warm up to you anyways besides that one night. Walking up to the door you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. Looking back you see Max skateboard away leaving you all alone. Talking a deep breath you knock on the door and wait for your fait to be sealed. The door opens revealing Billy the same one whose guts always hated. "You made it" he smirks as he lets you in you follow him into the living room. "Yeah..." you dryly reply following him into his room awkwardly standing in the doorway as he makes his way to his closet. The first this you noticed was the poster of a thin woman in a red skin tight bikini. Mentally cringing you take in the rest of the room yellow walls, two speakers placed on top of a desk, cassettes all over, green curtains and sheets, clothes strewn all over the place, and a single candle. Not much of a room but you couldn't judge yours was only half unpacked you look to the closet completely ignoring him and looking at his mirror setup. His mirror was propped up with a crate and a black box hair products, cologne, and an ash tray full of cigarettes next to it. Your eyes wonder back to the bed and land on the one other poster he had the Metallic "Kill 'em all" poster. "Here" you jump a little your head quickly snapping to your left to see your walkman in hand. Without hesitation you grab it before he could take it back or ask you for more outlandish requests. The thickens like all the oxygen was taken out of the room and worst of all you felt his gaze. "Do..." you trail off "what?" he stares right into your soul "do you like more than just Metallic?"

He looks at you confused like no one has ever asked him what he has liked. "Obviously" he looks over to the poster "now are you going to just stand here or leave?" It was silent deep down you knew if you didn't do something you would never talk to him again. You pop open your walkman and grab the cassette you made when you first got it. The cassette that go you here to Hawkins the cassette that you kept close to you at all times. "Here" you reach out your arm handing him your cassette. "What?" his eyes look you up and down before looking down at the cassette in your hand. "I want you to have it" he looks back up at you like you just lost your mind but gingerly grabs it. "What's on it?" Billy looks over the small shell to see all the songs and artists in order written in your hand writing. You look to your left you to see a brown couch with some clothes and a green triangle cushion laying on it. You sit down on it crossing your arms "what are you doing!?" he grabs your upper arm pulling you off the couch. "Come on let's listen to it" you smile as he lets go of you. "seriously?" he throws the cassette towards you quickly catching it before it falls to the ground. "Keep it i have better things to do" he grabs his opened bear taking a sip placing it back on the shelf holding his array of miscellaneous things. You sigh not wanting to admit it that you wanted to see him again. He was an asshole but you almost felt like he was sweeter underneath his tough act. "Look Billy..." you trail off taking a deep breath "i want to see you again." He looks at you like you just gave him the green light to do anything he wanted to you. You felt like fresh meat now unaware of what he had in store for you. "Oh really y/n?" he laughs "you" he points "want to see me?" you felt like a fool. "Never mind" you turn around trying to get out of his house as quickly as possible "wait!" you hear him shout. You're halfway to the front door "come back here" he shouts out again. You set your walkman on the table in the living room and slip off your shoes placing them next your walkman. "Do you want me to stay for a while?" you ask walking into his room barefoot feeling the cold hardwood underneath you.
