Andrea's POV

I blinked back at the thunderstorms swarming in my mind, trying to make out sense of the world around me. There was darkness and blackness all around except in the path in front of me. It shimmered gold and I saw how it shimmered into the oblivion. Though the edges of my vision flickered and danced, I could make out the silhouette of someone standing. Finnick.

He waved his hand in the air while saying something but his voice could not reach me. With that, he turned his back to me and started walking on the golden path.

Walking away from me.

"Finnick!" I shouted but I doubted whether the words even escaped from my mouth, for the gap between us was increasing.

"Finnick! Stop!" I yelled at him, running and tripping while in between. I was in a completely disheveled condition but I don't mind.

This time he stopped and turned to face me. He passed me one of his most heart-warming smiles and resumed walking away.

I struggled to catch up with him. He kept walking faster and faster.

I sighed with relief and happiness as I finally neared him but alas! I tripped on a stone and fell. My knees were bruised and scratched. I stood up hurriedly, only to see Finnick a kilometre ahead of me.

I scurried off behind him, shouting at him to stop. At last, he stopped, turned to face me and put his hand out for me to reach.

Thank the Gods.

I ran, screaming with joy that he stopped going without me. He waited for me. I took his hand and he pulled me into a hug.

"Please, don't ever leave me. Finnick, please." I begged.

He nods as he caresses my hair.

"I love you, Finnick. I love you...don't leave me." I whisper into his ear.

He looked at me with awe in his eyes. He opened his mouth to speak but before he could utter anything, everything fades.

Finnick's POV

I was making my couch ready to be slept on, when I heard Andrea murmuring something. I paced across the room to her and my heart skipped a beat on seeing her.

Tears were streaming down on her face, while she was still asleep. I noticed the trail the first tear left on her face, starting from the corner of her eyes to the area near her jaws. She was muttering some words which left me in deep shock.

"Please, don't ever leave me. Finnick, please." I heard her murmuring, shaking her head.

She was in pain even in her sleep. Even in sleep I was not letting her stay in peace.

"I love you, Finnick. I love you...don't leave me."

I looked at her in amazement, still in shock on what I had just heard.

She loves me.

She freaking loves me!

For some reason, I felt happiness inside me. I felt as if all my worries vanished and I was in eternal bliss.

She loves me.

And then I am reminded that I am already committed. To Love.

But Andrea...she is igniting something in me. I realize how happy I am with her.

No no what am I saying?

I shook my head in disapproval. How can this be possible? No no I am just thinking too much.

But how can I be so cruel to Andrea?

Andrea's POV

I open my eyes, blinking back the tears from my eyes. My vision was blurred and I had to blink several times for it to clear. It took a second for me to realize I was not on my bed. My bed was not this soft. Then I realize I was not in my room.

And panic hits me.

I sit up against the soft, white pillow and scanned where was I.

The texture-painted wall in front was covered with posters of varying sizes and content, mostly of different movies and music. I notice a few paintings pinned up on the wall too. Some beautiful paintings. I see an expensive looking cabinet placed in front of the well. My eyes goes from the cabinet to other places in the room till I landed on...Finnick.

What was he doing here?

His face had an expression which was a mixture of shock and awe. He still had not given me any reaction.

"Finnick?" I asked him weakly. My mouth felt sore and I felt sick.

That sprang him to action. With the speed of a lightening bolt, he got up and produced me a glass of water.

"Here..drink it," He said, handing me the glass.

I drank without a question and gulped it down in one go. Water didn't taste like water.

"Wh-" I started to ask but he kept his finger on my lips and I stopped speaking. He leaned in closer to me and spoke, "I will answer everything, okay?"

"You got hit by a car," He said while pointing towards my leg and I now saw the bandage on my ankle.

"You had fainted so I brought you here..you can sleep here for the night." He continued saying.

I listened to him without saying anything.

"I see you liked my choice of your clothes, didn't you?" He said, smirking at me. He looked too adorable.

"What clothes?" I asked, not understanding what clothes he was referring to.

He was still grimacing at me, his eyes having a mischievious glint.

And then I understood everything. I looked at my clothes..no they were not my clothes. I was wearing jeans and top and now I was in shorts and top.

"What! You changed my clothes?" I yelled at him, with my face flustered with embarressment.

"Yup. Your clothes were very dirty, you know. I closed my eyes the whole time..honestly." He mused, with his hands pinching his neck. "Except a few peeps here and there."

"How could you? How can you pretend everything is normal between us? After all that has happened?" I demanded, with tears welling up again in my eyes. I have so got used to them that I feel strange when they are not there.

He sat in silence, shocked at my outburst.

"Go and change the clothes of your girlfriend. Not mine. Don't even think I have forgiven you! I hate you! I hate you!" I cried out, standing up from the bed.

I decided to leave for my home but then I saw it was late. Also, I was not in a good condition.Hence, unfortunately or fortunately, as I had nowhere to spend the night, I changed my decision.

Stepping back into his bed,I pulled the sheets above me before telling him, "I am spending the night here."
