Andrea's POV
I stepped out of the car as the driver opened the door for me.I heard clappings and hootings all around me. I stumbled as I was too queasy to move properly. I would have embarassed myself if Finnick hadn't slipped his hands around my waist, pressing me closer to him and I regained my balance.
I felt confident as I walked on the spotless carpet which was paving way to the auditorium which was lit to its full glory, with his strong hands around my waist. We occasionally stopped walking, once in a while, posing for the cameras and waving at the crowd which thronged both the sides.
"Fandrea! Fandrea! Fandrea!"
I hear some people hooting, while holding posters of our movie 'Something Different.' A few others were shouting on similar lines.
People were cheering and waving their hands in the air, their cell-phones ready in their hands, recording everything. A group of girls brought their hands in front, trying to reach Finnick or maybe just hold his hands, but Finnick chuckled and obliged them with a hug. I saw one of them fainting afterwards while the others were jumping from excitement and happiness and blabbering about their good luck.
I see a teenaged girl, holding a pen and a paper out for me yelling for my autograph. I happily walked to her, as her face shone with excitement. As she passed me the pen and a paper, I asked her her name.
"Julia." She replied, with her face flushed.
"Cool name," I said, as I signed my name on the paper, writing a small message for her.
I was still over-whelmed that my simple signature was now not just a sign..it was an autograph.
I went back and joined Finnick who was still busy posing for the cameras. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed his body close to mine, standing still as the photographer was clicking our pictures.
"YOU LOOK TOO BEAUTIFUL ANDREA!!!!"
"Fandrea! Fandrea!"
"Be my girlfriend Andrea?"
I felt the Finnick's grip on my waist tighten as someone said this.
Click. Click. Click.
This only could be heard all around me, accompanied by the never-stopping applause and cheering.
Once we entered inside, I was impressed by the grandeur this auditorium beholded. Finnick introduced me to many other actors and I felt I was bursting seeing everyone I saw on television or movies standing in front of me.
"And this is-"Finnick was saying, introducing me two people I had forever desired to meet.
"Jose. Eila..." I interrupted him in between, still not able to believe my eyes. Jose and Eila were the main characters of the book 'Virtual Reality' written by the bestselling author of the book 'Halo'. Virtual Reality was made into a film which was soon a block-buster. Now seeing those two people standing live in front of me..I felt like jumping around with excitement.
"Yeah..that's their screen name.Their real life name-"Finnick again started saying only to be cut-off by me again.
"I know their names already, Finnick! But for me, they will always be labelled as Jose and Eila," I said, still in stupor.
Finnick made a clicking sound with his mouth and rolled his eyes, as I told them excitedly how much I loved their acting in the movie 'Virtual Reality.'
I saw Maclove, wearing a revealing royal blue dress, laughing and snickering with a few people as if she was having the time of her life. I saw her eyeing me as if she was scrutinizing me with her eagle eyes. I rolled my eyes in disgust as she excused herself from her little group, and came to Finnick, wrapping her arms around him and planting a kiss on his cheek, her body tightly pressed against his all the time.
