"Why are we walking to the cinema," I asked Finnick.I mean we could have taken a bus or metro to the cinema but why walk? Not that I couldn't walk a distance of two kilometers.

He stopped walking and looked deep into my eyes and said softly,"So that I can spend time with you without bothering about people. In buses or metros, there are many people, you know."

I was shocked that why was Finnick behaving so strangely today.Yet I put up a smile and asked almost too innocently,"What are you planning to do with me alone?"

He mused,"I can do so many things with you babe."

I looked at his face. He had a smirk on his face. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking. I stopped myself when he told me to wait. I waited impatiently for him. He came and said in his sexy voice,"You look beautiful without this stupid clutcher in your hair." He removed the clutcher from my hair and without saying a word, continued walking.

After a few minutes of brisk walking, we reached our destination. "Here we are finally," I said to myself.

I was startled to hear Finnick's prompt reply."Time flyes fast when I am with you, Andrea."

I didn't know how to respond to this but was thankfully saved by some screaming girls who hauled themselves on Finnick.

Gosh! I completely forgot that the person I was talking with was a star. I mean never once have I felt that he is not somebody like me but an actor. So humble, so grounded, so..well, basically, he was just like any the-guy-next-door!

I was staring at him open-mouthed. There were girls all around him. They were asking for autographs. Some were asking for pictures together. Finnick obliged to all of them happily. A handful of them even seized this golden opportunity to declare their love for him. I looked at Finnick as he shrugged and comfortingly told all that he was taken already.

Color went from my face. Finnick just said that he was taken already. He found someone new? He liked someone else. I bit my lip as these words came in my mind.

I was completely crushed.

Finnick's POV

This is the thing I don't like about stardom. Am I to enjoy my life in peace ever or not? Here was I to watch a movie with Andrea and..Andrea!

Where was she? I felt guilty about forgetting her. I tried to find her through the crowd but oh my! These girls were surrounding me like I was some God or something.

I combed my way through the card and saw Andrea standing in the corner.

"Whew.There she is," I whispered myself after completing this mission."Andrea!Andrea!Come here," I shouted to her but she was staring at her feet. She looked in pain. And it was her birthday today.

I silently cursed myself and immediately walked to her. She didn't seem to notice me. I kept my hand on her shoulder and she looked at me in surprise. Without saying anything more,we walked away from there. I needed to get away from these girls!

"I am sorry I forgot about you. I couldn't do anything. These girls were buzzing around me so much," I broke the silence.

She replied, "Its okay. I understand."

I could still see something was wrong with her. I still remember her tear-stained face in the morning.

Secretly in my heart I knew I was the one who caused those tears.

Andrea's POV

I was feeling exhausted with my life. Whenever I get closer to Finnick, the distance between us increases. Now, he likes somebody else .I tried to reason with myself to forget him. Forget him? I could never do that.

I glanced around and saw Anne. She was wearing green jaggings and a red tank-top. Her hair was left open. She was looking casual yet total chic.

"Hey bestie! Happy Birthday!" she called out to me.

I hugged and thanked her.

"Beautiful dress you are wearing," she said gleefully.

The fact that Finnick had given me that dress didn't seem a very good idea to tell to Anne considering their past relationship, so I just thanked her.

 "The movie is gonna sta.." her voice drained when she saw Finnick standing around.

Just then, Tessa came and saved the awkward tension between the two. "Andrea!Happy Birthday!" she said while hugging me. She gazed at Anne and Finnick and I saw her expression transform from happy to stunned.

The next moment, I saw her in Finnick's arms. I saw her going insane, jumping with joy and talking non-stop to him.

I immediately dissolved into laughter. I was laughing like lunatic now. That boy sure has a huge girl following. My eyes just fell on Anne casually. She was clearly feeling uneasy with Tessa hugging Finnick.

I was confused. I was not feeling uncomfortable seeing Tessa or other girls hugging him. Anne needs to accept this because Finnick is a celebrity so how can you not accept the girl following?

"Hey Andrea, how do you even know him"Tessy asked. Curiosity was evident in her voice.

I chuckled and teasingly told her, "Well, its a top-secret. Are you guys planning to watch the movie or not?"

Tessy made a pouting face and then we all laughed as we walked to the theatre.

I felt in my spirits again.I was in a cheerfull mood now,thanks to my friends.

I guess this is why we need friends.
