Sora walked out of the progenitor council meeting with a light yawn. They were always tedious and boring. She rarely saw a point to having one.

She'd been feeling better, eating a bit more at least. But she did still make it a goal to avoid mikaela. She ended up visiting the other kids she often provided with supplies. She felt the calmed her nerves.

Today, she watched the kids play around and have fun. The older ones made food, and she offered a bit of help when they needed it.

She found herself enjoying the company of 'livestock' more than the arrogant and unpleasant vampires she was stuck with.

She listened to her boots patter on the stones as she walked, eyes downcast towards her feet. She let them guide her everywhere. She knew the city like the back of her hand.

Rounding a corner, the female bumped into someone a bit forcefully, causing her to fall back if not for the hand supporting her back almost instantly. She looked up to a mop of blonde locks and unmistakable sky blue eyes.

Frozen in place out of pure shock, she gazed into his endless oceans of eyes.

"Hey." He mumbled simply.

She sent him a neutral glance, and they exchanged looks for a few seconds that felt like a hundred.

She coughed once into her hand, and he blinked, helping her back upright, grabbing her hand gently and pulling her up. "O-oh sorry." He muttered.

She glanced up at him and a genuine smile crept onto her lips, even if it was just a faint one.

"What are you doing out on the streets?" He asked monotonously as ever.

She just shrugged. "Taking a walk."

He flicked his hair back out of his face and blinked. "Mind if i join you?"

She shrugged, almost completely bewildered as to why. She hated the boy, of course. But not as much as she wants to.
