Psalm 11: A friend

Proverbs 18:24

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Neutron:

Cr*p. That girl knew. How? I haven't told anyone, and I just realised that secret just now. It was during the journey to find Daiko, when Bella and I had some girl talk. And... when talking to her, I realised...

But now Elsa is back. It seems that Daiko is gone and her group left. Thankfully. I didn't want anyone, especially Vlad, to learn.

"So Anubis, is a saver basically a savior?" Vlad asked him.

Anubis clenched his fists. "Yes. And don't talk anymore. The second one isn't a real one at all."

What was Anubis talking about?

Just then, Elsa gets out a box. "Here Ikuto. I found it while looking for Daiko, and it'll solve your quietness."

Ikuto opens the box to find a belled collar.

"... Now that we are here, I realize it could be offensive... Sorry..."

Ikuto smiles. "Not at all. I like it."

While everyone was laughing as Ikuto put it on, I started to leave so that they wouldn't interrogate me.

"Hey Neutron! Come here for a second!" Unfortunately, Elsa pulled me over to her room. Once we were there, she gave me dresses. "Here. Hold this, this, and this."

Well this was queer. "Elsa, did you bring me to talk about dresses? I didn't think you were that type of girl."

Elsa paused, sighing. "You're right. It's just that...I was worried when I heard that you had a secret. I mean... we've been together for a month, and that should be enough for all of us to learn that we don't have to keep things to ourselves; that we can share it with others. So when I heard about a secret, I figured that since you haven't told everyone, it must be a girl thing. The only thing I can think of is that it's about a guy, since she said "him". So I'm getting dresses for you to wear to impress him."

That's... so thoughtful of her. I'm glad that I know a friend like her. And she's so clever to figure that out. But... "It won't work."

Elsa turned to look at me incredulously. "Neutron. If you want it to happen, I'll help it happen. I'll even persuade everyone to do it without finding out the secret, so long as it doesn't go against our God."

"But... it's embarrassing."

"It's just me Neutron. I wouldn't mind, no matter what you say."

I took a deep breath as I prepared what to say, calming myself too.

"I think... I think I'm in love with Vlad."

"Are you in love with anyone?" Bella had asked.

I thought about it real hard. "I don't think I do. What about you?"

She had a very proud look on her face. "I am! The blue haired man is my boyfriend."

"Lucky! Do you think he's your one true love?"

"Yep!"

"How?"

"He really loves me. When we were younger, he would protect me; I didn't realize it was because he loved me. And he understands me. If I cry, he'd give me his shoulder. And if I want to talk, he just listen and let me talk."

I paused, thinking of someone like that. I don't know someone who'd protect me, but Vlad does understand me when it comes to tsundereitis. And he thinks I'm pretty even without makeup. That makes him a gentleman. He's a little arrogant, but in a funny way. He's also funny otherwise. And -

Wait. Why am I think about him?

"And I think about him all the time. So I must be in love with him."

I'm thinking of him. I'm in love with him.

Elsa

Wow, she's in love with my brother. I hugged her. "Oh Neutron, may the Lord bless you! I'm going to help you no matter what! I'll make Vlad fall in love with you!"

She blushed. "You don't have to do that."

Someone coughed. I turned around to see Ikuto. Maybe he knew her crush, maybe he didn't. "That bell isn't working!"

He smiled. "Of course it isn't." He handed Neutron a piece of blank paper. "A magi letter for you."

Neutron took it and started to read. "May letter," I asked.

"Can be read on any flat surface, but only be the one it's addressed to."

Neutron grins. "I almost forgot about this. Ikuto, get everyone ready. I have news."

Sorry I'm late. I haven't had any inspiration...(since only 2-3 people vote per update) And this season in color was a tough one; 12 hours of practice a week. I have 5 updates for you guys though, including a  Halloween special. I have champs this weekend, then a seven hour bus ride and a while weekend off. Wish me luck:) on champs!

Oh, please read Job update. I swear, it's good, and you want to read it. Even if it's long.
