Daichi

He acts just like Reiji. My dear, beloved Anubis.

Actually, he's not my beloved anymore, since I'm heart broken. Maybe I fell out of love for him because I found out his secret; I had to admit that he was able to keep it very well, and that it was a nice surprise.

But nevertheless, still heart broken.

It was the Saturday after; my day. I went to the park to see the people playing card chess.

What's card chess? Basically, chess but with cards.

Daichi, even I don't get that explanation.

Very well. Each person has five cards, and they can choose their move in chess from there. While it requires skill, it also requires luck. Of course, there's magic used to make sure that no one cheats.

There was a crowd gathering around a table. A man was holding his had in frustration, his opponent a mid teenaged, and very cute, boy.

Oh no.

I'm not like you. I'm very picky on who I fall for.

But the boy, despite winning, didn't look proud at all. He had a solemn expression. I liked that.

Oh no

For the last time, no.

But I was curious in the boy. I went up to him, pushing past the crowd. "May I challenge you?"

He looked at me. His brown eyes were the same color as his hair. "You're the pianist from Come." He hadn't seem to have gotten his voice change.

"In the flesh." He tapped something in his board. A screen appeared in front of me:

Kay Bailey invites you to a game of card chess. Accept?

I smiled. Kay; what a queer name.

I accepted. "Let's start this Reiji Luther." Might as well as have him think that I'm him.

I sat down and we started the game. Since I was white, I went first. I had five cards: pawn, rook, knight, pawn, pawn.

I moved my pawn first, setting one of the cards down. Kay took a pawn card and set it down, moving his pawn.

This went for quite a little while.

Yeah. I'm bored.

You usually are with these types of games.

Finally, there was only my king and bishop, and his king and rook, with a couple of pawns scattered across the board.

My bishop was in the vicinity of the king, but I had no bishop card. Kay's rook was in the vicinity of my king. And I had no king card.
