Psalm 25: You are more than that

Anubis:

I trembled as Elsa approached me. "Uncle Titus?...I don't know how this could me, but is that you?"

I shook my head. I didn't know how to explain this to her. Vlad was easy because of superstition, and José had a lot of proof. But Elsa... "Please, stay away from me!"

She approached me even more. Being scared, I ran away.

Maybe Ricardo was right; I'd always be a coward.

But Ikuto ran in front of me; I forgot he could run fast as a half cat. He hit me on the head and grabbed my shoulders. "Come on! I don't know why she's calling you Titus, but we're friends! I have shared all my secrets with you and you accepted them just fine! There's no sane reason for me not to accept yours."

Daichi patted my back. "I agree; and besides, if a man can be a cat and a woman can have tsundereitis, then anything can happen. We'll believe you."

Vlad scratched his head. "I'm confused. Why are we calling Anubis Titus again?"

I laughed. I turned to Elsa, saying. "You are right; hi, grasshopper." That was a name I liked to call her because when she was young, she was very hyper.

Elsa started to cry, hugging me. Vlad widened his eyes. "How do you know about that nickname?"

"Indeed, how do I know that you dressed up as a KISS member in order to chase away women?"

Vlad gaped at me. "Titus?"

I smiled, holding an arm to him. He hugged me too, patting my back.

But he pulled away. "Mind explaining some things?"

I laughed. "You see, a long time ago, I was very devout to God, but I never really understood that he loved us. Thus, every time I died, I was reborn in the same city at the same time I died, something like reincarnation. But I was told that I would be reincarnated until I understood his love. I have lived in Israel for half of my life, and I'm about 3500 years old."

Everybody's eyes grew wide. "Did you know Jesus?" They asked.

I laughed, glad that was the first thing they asked, and not something else, meaning that they accepted me. "I did, although I only met him for a moment. He was very impactful."

They stared at me. Then Vlad and Ikuto started to nudge me. "So, are you really asexual? You must've gotten married at least once. Or at least had a few girls."

I chuckled. "Actually, I lied. I've been married before." I held up two fingers. "Twice."

Everybody stared at him. "YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!!!"

Elsa poutted at me. "Uncle Titus, you know better than to lie."

I smiled. Trust Elsa to scold me. "Fine. I'm in love with someone and am not interested in anybody else. Even though that lady is dead. Anyway, my first wife was somewhat of an arranged marriage, but my second wife..." Tears fell from my eyes. "I am truly in love with her, and I miss her so much."

I wiped my tears, reminiscing about her. "Don't get mad at me, but her name was Elsa, and she had green eyes."

Ikuto and Vlad stared at Elsa. She touched her eyes. "So that's why you named me Elsa... But the bullies killing a boy... was that a lie?"

I shook my head. "I call everyone a kid because they're younger than me...I once knew a wonderful man named Vladimir... whom Vlad is named often." I nodded at him. " He was Elsa and Vlad's ancestor. But people where he came from thought they was a vampire. Don't laugh." I said at them sternly. "They chased after him and eventually burned him alive. Right in front of me, his newborn son, and his young wife... She could never stand fire after that."

Elsa gasped as I sighed. "So, what else do you guys want to know?"

Vlad scratched his head. "If you knew our ancestor, then why are you following our family?"

I fidgeted. "Well, remember I had a second wife named Elsa? We had a son together, who is your ancestor." They all stared at me. "He found out about me, and asked me to make a promise to make sure that our line of descendants stays safe."

"So, you're our great great great..."

I chuckled. "Yeah, and some more 'greats' grandfather."

While they were in disbelief, Neutron took her chance. "If you are one of the main founders of magic, then you know the real secret about magic, right?"

I smiled. "Smart girl, to be able to get through all of Noah's defenses." She beamed. "But yes, I should tell you it."

I cleared my throat, ready to tell a really long story.

"Ikuto, Neutron, I'm sorry."

Ikuto looked confused, but Neutron shrugged her head. "I already knew from looking into government secrets."

I sighed with relief and started to speak again."If one is in a family that has been exposed to magic, they'll eventually get magical disorders. Ikuto's family had been in the music genre for quite a long time, explaining his family's violin, his last name Flute, and how his family could change into cats. Neutron had a family that managed music groups, being exposed to music, thus her tsunderitis and her shapeshifting ability. Sorry Ikuto; no one had cursed your family."

He sighed. "You know what? I'm actually glad about that. I never would've been able to forgive them, and the Lord tells us to forgive. Thank you."

I shuffled my feet. "There you go. I'm sorry that I misled you."

Elsa pouted. "Well, I'm angry that you lied about your sexuality."

I laughed. "Fine. I am still deeply in love with a woman, even if she is dead."

She smiled widely and hugged me. "Much better. I knew that you are more than a sinner; you're my trusted uncle Titus, one I can always rely on no matter what happens."

I smiled back, hugging her. I'm glad that they believed in the Lord so much. I am so glad.

Sorry for the late update; I took last week off. Hopefully I'll get the next chapter updated soon. It's a really funny, lighthearted one.
