Elsa:

"Alright, for the next round, as you know, the song is a newly composed one by the group and done without the lead singer. Elsa Alizae, Ferris Serd, please come down."

We did, and I was a little scared that I was sitting down next to the guy who sabotaged me, but then I realized that he wouldn't harm me in front of all these people, so I sat down.

"The Androidz will go first."

They started to perform. Their singing wasn't all that great though... Made me wince a lot.

Now that I think about it... since Ikuto sang just now and he isn't all that used to singing... Vlad said he'll do it. And.... he can't sing.

I sighed. I have no idea what he's going to do, but Lord, give him the strength to do well.

The Androidz finished, and it was our turn to start. Vlad was in the front; Ikuto, Anubis, and Reiji in the shadows.

And that's when Neutron skipped on to the stage. She was wearing her red headphones, with the music sounding loud and clear. Vlad chased after her.

He said into the microphone as he chased her, "Err, excuse me ma'am.... can you just take a sec.... The Lord loves you and... Excuse me!"

He touched her shoulder. Neutron, surprised, looked at him with curiosity. She took her headphones off, additionally turning them off too.

He sighed. "Thank you! You know, you walk blindly. Sure you're pretty and you think you have your life made, but you don't! There's more to this life, since there's a God that loves you out there! To explain what I mean, I think that I'll sing a song."

The lights brightened in the book as the trio there started to play an upbeat, pop tempo. And Vlad sang,

"Hey cute young girl with the headphones on. Do ya even know what I'm saying? Oh!
I'm going to preach of the one true God...
So try and listen; see through this fog~!"

There was a crescendo on the last word. I could tell Neutron was trying not to laugh, but Vlad was actually singing well; he clearly practiced a lot.

And I tried my hardest to keep from laughing when my brother went full on rap.
"If you're ready for the journey of life; listen to me!
Just love and follow him; you'd see your life in a whole new way
'Cause when times get tough, hear me out, call to him and he'll help you,
But please don't leave, Cause I wanna help you out- headphone girl."

Well, rapping did solve the problem of singing.... if Mom and Dad could've seen this...

"Hey pretty girl with the headphones on.
Do ya even know that the Lord wants you?
Cause he's relationship; not religion.
He craves love and wants you to love him back~

The Lord is everything you want, yeah can't you see?
He can and will forgive, doesn't matter what it is you've done
Yeah believe he's real, cause I know he's what who made us.
But please don't leave, know that I don't lie - headphone girl."

Neutron held out her hand, and they started dancing the decrescendo.

"Hey cute young girl, hey pretty girl,
Hey cute young girl, hey pretty girl.
Love and joy, patience and forgiveness,
Hey those you want, the Lord has."

They ended, and the crowd starting cheering.

Ezekiel looked her papers, then at the Androidz. "Androidz, well done on the composition the song... However, the singing was very out of tune and the playing seemed... well robotic this time. You receive 20/25 points."

She turned to Vlad. "Come, you performed very well, and the singing was not too bad for someone who usually plays the drums. However, the composition of the song was very unstructured. The beat and the meter were nice, but it didn't flow as well. All in all, 21/25."

I sighed. We did it! We're only half a point away, and then we're caught up.

"Okay; ten minute break," said the announcer.

I went back up. "Great job guys!" I grinned at Vlad. "If Mom and Dad heard that..."

"They'd be laughing their heads off, I know." He grinned. "I practiced so much on that, and Neutron helped me out. I didn't think I could do it; but I somehow did." He started kissing Neutron.

I smiled. I'm so glad that he and Neutron fixed the problem they had together. Now, it feels that he really did feel in place here.

"Okay, I'm performing the next song, so I'll get ready." Anubis strapped on his guitar.

When he volunteered to do this pay a month ago, I had never seen him so eager in anything before. I can't wait to see what he had in store.

Whew, finished this one quick.

I also am very glad that I found the Headphone girl song I made last year and didn't have to make it again.

But Anubis's one... that's going to be tricky. I made one last year, but it didn't exactly fit, so I'll have to make it from scratch.

Anyway, we'll be taking a break from competitions too. The next part will be Solomon. Since this part is my second favorite, it'll be long.

However, if you guys cried in Job, I will warn you: bring a box of tissues before you start Solomon.

Solomon is at least ten times more sad and depressing than Job. I usually don't cry.... But I think I'm going to cry while I write it.

Anyway, see you later and don't forget to vote and comment.
