Love Like You

Now We Meet

Y/N arrived to her own home, where she lived alone, and she immediately turned her heater on. She was soaking wet and was shivering, she stripped off her clothes and set the orange gem down as she went to go take a hot bath. She got out and made sure to clean up her mess and got the gem and went to her bedroom. She put the gem on her nightstand and laid down, relaxing her sore muscles Y/N fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.

The next morning...

Y/N was awakened to someone grabbing hold her, she was sure that it was a burglar of some sort that was trying to strangle her to death. The first thing she thought was to kick her legs up. Y/N heard a loud 'OOF' and then an angry growl, "You stupid human, you'll pay for that."

Y/N looked up and saw a giant woman (oml) hanging over her, she had long white hair that hung off the bed, her complexion was a beautiful abendrot. The womans eyes were like looking into the sun, and the gem that Y/N had found earlier was on the nose of this woman.

She was mesmerized by her appearance, and the woman who had pinned her down noticed that, "What're you starin' at, brat?" Y/N snapped out of her intense gaze and reached out a hand, she brushed the gem on her face.

"This gem..." She started.

"Don't touch!" The woman brushed her hand away, and turned away, blushing slighty. Y/N wriggled out from underneath her and stood a few feet away from her bed.

"Who are you?" Y/N asked, gazing intensely at the woman on her bed, she reached a hand out to her, "I'm Y/N."

The other woman turned away from Y/N, she wasn't too used to anyone staring at her with so much interest. "I'm Jasper," she muttered under her breath, she looked at Y/N's hand, and looked as if she expected something to come out of it.

"What are you waiting for? Nothing's going to happen" Y/N asked, as if reading Jasper's mind, "Shake my hand, it's how people get acquainted with each other."

Jasper hesitated, "Why should I? Your just a pesky human being."

Y/N looked at her and nearly laughed, "Well I saved your life last night, I think I at least deserve a handshake."

"I didn't need any help last night," Jasper said, raising her voice. "I'm a gem warrior, I don't need the help of a pathetic human."

Now Y/N had a dangerous aura surrounding her, but she was still smiling, which only made it scarier, "well I'm sure that without my help some other human would have found you and decide to make a shitload of jewelry out of that damn nose of yours, and yes, that would mean that they would have to break your gem into several pieces. So I'm sure that you would be dead by now without my pathetic human help, Jasper."

Jasper was surprised by the reasoning this human had, she looked away, almost ashamed that she was schooled by a mere human, "thanks... I guess," she muttered.

Without looking, she can tell that the aura that surrounded Y/N instantly evaporated, and as if she wasn't even angry, Y/N smiled, "you're welcome! Now I'm going to make breakfast, wanna come?" Y/N said, and it sounded more like a demand than a question.

'I'm trapped with a demon' Jasper thought, and she trudged after Y/N.
