As soon as Jasper and Y/N arrived back home Jasper tossed Y/N onto the couch, "you know, it's rude to throw people," Y/N raised her nose in the air and turned away from Jasper.
"Are you really going to be angry at me for saving your life?!" Jasper asked.
"I could swim you know!" Y/N countered, "I would've been just fine!"
"You don't know anything about the ocean! About what's in there, and what will attack you...you don't know anything!" Jasper yelled back, she had a crazed look in her eyes, it was almost as if she was scared. Y/N saw this and immediately felt bad.
"I didn't mean to make you worry you know," Y/N paused and sat up properly, "but I just knew I could do this and I wouldn't seem weak to you, for once."
"Do you really think I care about that?" Jasper asked, she took a step forward to Y/N.
"Well, yeah, you talk about being a warrior all the time," Y/N stated, as if it were the most obvious thing ever.
"Ugh! You just don't get it!" Jasper sighed frustratedly, as she ran a hand through her thick white hair.
"Of course I don't! I don't even know why you've become so overprotective!" Y/N sighed.
"You're a human! You're not like gems, we regenerate once we get hurt," Jasper explained, "if you get hurt then what am I going to do?" Y/N looked into her lap, now she was beginning to feel guilty for what she had done, but a finger was brought under her chin and forced her to look up at Jasper. "Y-you're...so much more different from any gem or human that I've ever met," Jasper admitted, her cheeks were burning from embarrassment and you can see how much she was blushing from a mile away.
Y/N removed Jasper's hand and wrapped her arms around the towering gem, and she hurried her face in Jasper's mane, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Y/N said, her voice was barely over a whisper. Jasper hesitated, but then she started to embrace the human, making sure she was gentle.
"It's fine..." Jasper sighed, relieved that she wouldn't have to argue anymore, "just don't do it again!"
"Hehe, sure thing boss!" Y/N giggled, and before she broke out of the hug she kissed Jasper right on her gem, making her blush even more than before. "You know, I really like it when you call me by my actual name, you should do it more often!" Y/N grinned mischievously before she walked away, looking for Tiger.
"No way in hell am I ever calling you by your real name, shrimp!" Jasper shouted, she was embarrassed that she was getting embarrassed so easily (is that even possible?) by this human...this human who made her heart beat faster, this human who made her always feel like there was something to be excited about, this human who made her feel something she hadn't felt in a long time...the feeling of happiness.

haha, I've been meaning to make a new chapter lately, but I have a medical disease called being lazy, it's quite serious. Anyways, PROGRESSION IN THE RELATIONSHIP! JUST GREAT!! So glad the chapter turned out to be at least okay. Have a nice day~
