White Lie

Y/N stood up after she finished her call to Steven, telling him that she just woke up, and she made sure not to mention her encounter with Jasper. Although it was a lie, she needed time to find out what to do with Jasper. She walked out of her room and walked over to the living room, she looked around for Jasper, then she felt a breath go down her back. Y/N felt as if she was literally going to jump out of her own skin, she shrieked, "What the actual hell Jasper?! That's it! I'm getting you that damn bell!!" She turned to Jasper and her face was red with both anger and embarrassment, she'd gotten scared TWICE.

"Quit your complaining," Jasper grunted, she walked around Y/N and blocked her front door. "Now where are you going?"

"Out, now I need you to stay here," Y/N said, "I'll be back in less than an hour, hopefully. Now if you'll excuse me."

Y/N waited for Jasper to move out of the way, she was a bit dumbfounded at how the human bossed her around so easily. Before Y/N could set her hand on the doorknob, Jasper sneered, "what makes a petty human like you think that I'll continue to stay here? I'm on a mission."

Y/N turned and spoke calmly, "you just finished regenerating, I'm sure that you can't be ready to finish your mission. And if you are, where will you start? I'm sure that you don't have the slightest clue as to where your at right now, how on earth will you know where to start from again?"

Jasper stood for a moment, as much as she hated to admit it, she was stranded, she really wouldn't know where to start from, or how to get around. It kinda pissed her off, how logical this human was, she walked away and went to go think of any kind of plan that would help her get off this miserable heap of rock.

Y/N giggled as she saw Jasper look concentratedly at the ground, she knew the gem was trying as hard as she could. Before Y/N left, she quietly whispered, "don't hurt yourself by thinking too much," and before Jasper could process what Y/N said, she was already gone.
