I woke up to an arm wrapped around me. I didn't want to turn to see who it was because I was still in my sleepy state, and that meant I was still in my lazy state. I had to be someone I knew anyway because we were still in my bed and my house was always lock and only the boys and my mom had a key to this place.
My thoughts stopped when I heard the guy start to mumble something. I couldn't make out what he was saying though.
At this point my anxiety got the best of me and I slowly turn around and tried not to wake the person up. I struggled but I got it to happen.
And I turn to see... Luke.
The one and only.
Suddenly my alarm went off, and I jumped almost a foot in the air out of shock. And unfortunately Luke woke up too, this would lead to an awkward situation.
Luke's wake up routine was always the same. It started by his arms coming from underneath the covers and being stretched, then bringing his hands to his eyes and rubbing them to get the crust out or whatever he did that for, and then he finally opened his eyes.
He looked my way with a smile on his face. Why would he be happy? He just left a note about leaving me and now he's smiling?
"Morning babe" he says lowly
"Hey" I replied trying to get to the point
"Why'd you leave that not?" I asked. My eyes starting to burn from the sunlight and my emotions.
"It was a joke, I'm not leaving, we're both leaving, I bough a new house. It's beautiful and big and it has a pool, and there's another surprise too!" Luke spoke excitedly
" Did you forget that you cheated on me?" I asked
He burst into laughter. " I never went on vacation with the boys and I never cheated I had some of my guys make an photo edit. Looks legit right! I had to make you mad to throw the surprise off babe"
I swear my heart melted. My anger subsiding now that the situation was explained. I smiled.
" Get ready so I can go show you it" he screamed excitedly.

After 30 minutes of getting ready, we'd finally gotten into Luke's car, his Range Rover.
I kept asking Luke what the house looked like and what the other surprise was but all he did was say no and shake his head, and giggle occasionally.
After about 30 minutes of driving we pulled into a house with an open gate. The house was huge and it had a new minimalist look to it making the house look bad ass. If it looked so cool outside, what would it look like inside.
Luke knew I always wanted a house like this. We always drove past another house similar to this, but our new house was far bigger!
Luke looked at me and then dangled a key in front of my face. I took the key from him and ran out of the car, to the house. I quickly opened the door and I awed at the house. I always loved the way black and white looked, and thus house was black and white to the max, with a few different colors here and there.
Luke came up behind me and hugged my shoulders. "What do you think" he asked
I turned around and him the biggest and tightest hug ever. "It's amazing, you know it is, I literally can believe you did this!" I gave him a kiss.
He pulled away. "Wait here's the actual surprise" Luke spoke
He started walking somewhere, and I followed him. I think we were heading outside to the backyard. He opened the door for me and looked around. I didn't see anything that would be surprised worthy. But then I heard a bark, I looked down and saw a puppy, but not just any puppy, it was a Doberman, a dog that I would constantly tell Luke about and show him videos.
I quickly picked the puppy up and it started to bite my finger, it was so cute.
"Luke you are the best! Like I'm gonna die because I'm so happy!" I squealed
"All because I love you Jessica" Luke said.
And that's when it hit me. I cheated on Luke and this time Luke didn't cheat on me,
Fuck.
