I was now laying in bed, a naked Calum laying next to me. Both of us panting from our previous actions. Cal and I just had sex, and it was good passionate sex, I loved Calum as a friend but maybe somewhere deep inside there was a little bit more than just friendship.
Calum and I were still wrapped up in each other's bodies. I looked over at the time, 8:30 pm, it wasn't late but I'd have to leave in an hour or sooner. Calum looked over at me and smiled.
"I have to tell Luke about this sometime, I complain about him cheating on me when I just cheated on him." I said
"But this meant something to you, didn't it?" he questioned
" Yeah I guess it did."
"Exactly we felt something it wasn't love or lust there was just something. Luke doesn't have that 'something' with the girls he sleeps around with, so it's not really your fault that we felt something." Calum rushed the words just saying what came out of his mouth.
But in a way he was right, me and Calum had felt something. Luke just liked to sleep around.
"I'm going home Cal. I hope this doesn't change anything between us." I said while trying to get my clothes on. "Of course it doesn't, your still my best friend." He smiled
"Well I'll see you soon, love you!" I said throwing our occasional 'love you' out there. Which he just replied one back.

By the time I came home it was about 9:00 pm. I didn't expect Luke to be at the apartment but there was his car parked in the driveway.
I quickly unlocked the door and put all my stuff away. I went into the living room seeing Luke there eating pizza. I was going to tell him about me and Calum. I just hope he was not going to flip out because I cheated once and I had a reason to, because Luke neglected me, he put me in a corner and only used me when he felt I was necessary. While he was cheating anytime he could get, I sat alone at home looking at myself in the mirror thinking why I wasn't good enough.
"Luke I need to tell you something." I said my voice coming out weary.
He just looked at me and nodded telling me to proceed.
" Today I went over to Calum and one thing lead to another and we kind of ended up sleeping together." I was debating weather to tell him if had felt something but decided one leaving that part out.
"Oh, I can't believe you would do that. With my band mate too. That's really low, Jessica."
"How can you say that to me Luke you've cheated on me so many times and without a reason too. And then your gonna sit there and tell me I'm low for cheating once this whole damn relationship. Atleast I felt something with Calum that I don't feel with you anymore. You just ignore me and only talk to me when you need something. Calum made me felt like I meant something to him!" I was full on sobbing now.
"Your a bitch, why are you crying, I am the one who supports us and everything. And your just gonna sit there and cry about how you don't feel needed around me, grow up Jess, the world doesn't revolve around you." He said waving his hand.
" Luke your supposed to love me and make me happy make me feel needed. Like I mean something to you. I try my best everyday not to break down crying when I leave this house with you. Hell you didn't even notice I was on the strongest depression pills when I first caught you cheating!" I screamed
"I wanted to kill myself so bad Luke" I whispered the last hoping he wouldn't hear it. But it was true. When I was younger I always knew I was more calm and mature than other kids. I understood life more, and I knew that when I was younger I did have the tiniest twinge of depression. When I met Luke I forgot I had it at all. But that day I caught him, I had a whole bottle of sleeping pills in one hand, and I was gonna take them but I knew I had to be stronger I had to live for Luke. But now that I look back on it I really wouldn't of cared if I did it.
Luke looked at me in disbelieve, his eyes widening, he looked like he'd seen a ghost. But then in one second his eyes turned dark and his face pale and emotionless.
"Give me the ring"
"What?" I said looked down at my finger that contained the diamond.
" I said give me the ring back! I can't be engaged to someone as crazy as you."
He really did struck a nerve this time.
