The sound of people muttering woke me from my sleep. I woke up with a unfamiliar pain in my arm, the bright light of the room forcing me to peel my eye open. When I did I my eyes went to all directions of the room, trying to find out where I was, and so far it looked like a hospital.
Two people where talking from outside the thin door, so I could here everything and so far one of the ladies sounded like my mother. Me and her had a fairly weird relationship, we were close but we fought alot.
I looked down at my arm the pain pulling me from my thoughts. An IV hooked into my arm, and a large bandage on my wrist, most probably sprained from the accident, but so far the rest of my body looked unharmed. "Oh my!" I looked up to see who the screaming was from and of course it was from my mother. She ran towards me and stopped at the side of the bed.
"Jessica I was so scared when the hospital called, thank god you re fine!" my mother yelled. I looked at her and smiled. The doctor then came in, "Hi Jessica! How are you?" asked the doctor. "I'm good so far" I said quietly. I was never the person to be optimistic in these situations.
"Well looks like you weren't hurt to much from the crash just a sprained wrist from when the airbages popped out. So ill just have you sign these release papers and you ll be on your way." she said cheerily. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I was walking to Moms car, and i suddenly thought about my car! "Mom what happened to my car I spent all of my money on it?, I whisper shouted. She looked at me a smile forming on her face. "Well that car might have saved your life, since it had automatic stop brakes it stopped a little before it hit the rail, just a dent it all. have your car in the shop, don't worry." she said reassuringly .
"Oh thanks"
"Im not going to quiz you on what you were doing out in that stormy weather but you have to understand never to do that again, you could of got yourself killed." she said sadly. "I know mom i dont know what i was thinking." i said back in a calm voice.
We were soon to arrive at me and Lukes townhouse. We pulled into the driveway Lukes car not being there. Thank god he was the last person I wanted to see. We were engaged, we loved eachother, well atleast i still hope he loved me. Its just hard to know you love someone so much that you feel empty without them, cant go hours without hearing their voice, it makes you feel weak like if you lost that person you would be nothing.
I walked into the townhouse, looking around seeing everything in the same place as when I left. I went around my house looking for my phone that I left in the house so no one could contact me. I found it on the bedside table drawer, there were messages from everyone of the boys asking where I was except for Luke. Did he care?
I wanted to cry so bad, so I did. I was full on crying my sobs loud and weren't gonna stop anytime soon. I just laid on bed for about 30 minutes and cried thinking about Luke. This isn't supposed to be happening, Luke is supposed to make me happy, whenever I think about him I'm supposed to smile, not cry.
Its not like I'm a hard maintenance fiance, hes off tour and all i want is to spend sometime together, but her likes going to clubs and grinding on people who aren't his fiance. Ever since he proposed he started acting this way.
I just don't know what to do anymore. My phone buzzed, it was a call from Calum, I picked up.
"Hello?"
" Oh my god Jess you scared the shit out of me and the boys, where were you, whats going on?" he screamed into the phone.
"I'm fine I was just on my way to the stores yesterday, and I got into an accident, its fine." I lied, well in a way it was true just not the store part.
"I'm coming over" before I could say anything else the line went dead.
In about 10 minutes Calum was over pounding on my door repeatedly. I ran downstairs opening the door quickly so he didn't give a headache with the knocking. As soon as I did he grabbed me in a tight hug, the hug lasting for about half a minute. As soon as he let me go he grabbed my hand and led me to the couches and let me sit in his lap, my face towards his, our arms slung over each other so we didn't fall off the couch.
"We had the worst weather this year yesterday, so tell me the real reason you left the house" he said sternly. I could never argue with Calum he always knew me the best, I just would tell him the truth.
"Well I confronted Luke about his cheating, we fought a bit, then had sex, and then i got mad that we just had sex because there wasn't any love involved in it, so i decided to leave for a couple of days, but then i got into the car accident." i said quickly
Calum just looked at me a deep stare in his eyes. He started leaning in, I did too. His lips were on mine in seconds and it was a kiss that i hadn't had in a long time. It was a passionate and loving kiss, and it was something I needed right now.
