I try to open my eyes as my ear picks up what is happening around me. I try but it seems I can't control my body.

"Why isn't she waking up?" The sweet voice of Rafael calls out a soothing sound to my ears. I was happy that he had just proposed to me again after we talked about what happened between Ariel and him. Ariel? It felt like I was missing a piece to the puzzle.
Failing to remember, I stopped thinking about it. I wonder if Rafael had talked to Ariel as I asked him. I didn't want to hurt his feelings by telling him what I think but I think he has to grow up and smell the coffee.

The voices continue,

"Her body shut down to protect herself. She is a very strong woman and her babies sure want to see this world because with that bruise to her stomach. She would have lost them but we did our very best and saved them." Oh God! They're talking about me. How did I almost lose my babies? She recognized the voice of the woman speaking but she couldn't pin her name to it. She was the Doctor present when her and Rafael had that big fight.

"But we have some bad news. She suffered a serious brain injury to the hit on her head and lost some blood. Which we have successfully returned but the problem is there is a fifty percent chance of her not remembering what happens before the accident and as the other individual with her in the hospital has disappeared we would never be able to know what happened. " Ohh. Could they be talking about me? I don't remember what happened last but I do remember talking to Rafael about my suspicion of Ariel and Mrs King planning something bad. If they were talking about her then it was bad because that means she would have lost a few weeks or days of her memory.

"Are you trying to say when she wakes up she won't remember me?" Rafael asks he sounds so forlorn and broken. Ohh, i wonder how Rafael must be feeling.

"No I am not saying that but with how hard it looks I'm not sure what she'll be able to remember what happened prior to the accident. " Doctor Eva says.

I feel the bed dip as Rafael sat on it, his fingers caressed my cheek. His lips brush my forehead.

I felt like we were alone now, I know the Doctor had left.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I would have followed you out. I would have not let you leave alone. " Rafael said in a hoarse voice through the tears rolling down his cheeks.
I felt a wet liquid drop onto my face. Ohh! He's crying. I had never seen Rafael cry.

I once again tried to reach out to Rafael but I couldn't because I was trapped in my own body, restricted from movement, speech. I tried again then felt myself falling into an unfortunate rest.

"Rafael. I came as soon as I heard. How are you doing brother?" The man asked. Is that Rafael's brother? The famous one that Marie always talked about. Ohh poor Marie. I haven't heard her come to visit me since. I hope she is alright.

"Fernando. Welcome. "Rafael says.

"How is she doing?" He asked.

"She's not waking up. Why isn't she waking up? It's been two days. " Rafael's voice called out.

"She'll come through. She's just recovering." Fernando's voice comes comforting.

"I'm going to be a dad, Fernando." Rafael confesses to his brother, standing up. I know that's the first person that knows about these babies expect from us and my mother. He's sounds so broken that's why he's telling him.

"Wow. Congratulations. Did you just find out?" Fernando says his voice sounds sincerely happy and I hear a slap to the back.

"No. I knew before. It's a miracle she didn't lose that babies." Rafael say, I hear rather than see his smile.
