We got home in no time. Fernando and Sidney said their good nights and they were off to bed.

Rafael and I walked to the room in absolute silence. He hasn't spoken a word to me since I came back from the station.

What if he thought what happened was true?

I slipped off my dress and put my nightgown back on, from where I had left it.

I went to bathroom and did my business, wiped and washed my hands before returning to the room.

Rafael had already undressed and he was on his back with his arms behind his head.

When he saw me, he moved further down the bed and raised the covers up, smiling, telling me to join him.

I climbed into bed bed beside him and rested my head on his chest, snuggling into his warmth.

"Are you alright, baby?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

"I'm fine. Tired but fine. " I said, closing my eyes.

"What happened in the station?" I could feel his gaze piercing into my eyes but I didn't bother opening my eyes.

"They asked me questions. It was really disturbing. Especially the fact that I was being accused of something I know nothing of. " I said my voice rising slightly.

I felt his lips on mine and my eyes shot open. He just gave me a soft kiss.

"Relax. It's not good if you're worked up." He said, his lips curved in a smile.

"Rafael, I don't know what's going to happen. I mean what happens if they don't believe me and they lock me up. I don't think I'll be able to survive there. I mean__" my ranting was cut short.

"Shh. Nothing's going to happen. They have no proof you were involved they just know you and Ariel didn't get along. That's all. And besides, do you think I would ever let you go?" His calm and composed voice was soothing.

"I was just scared, the lady she made me so upset with her questions. She didn't even consider the fact that I was annoyed. " I said sitting up, tears were already forming in my eyes.
"Shh. Dolores, don't cry. Everything's going to be fine. You know it's not good for the babies." Rafael said wrapping his arm around my shoulders kissing my forehead.

He turned my face to him and raised my chin up, cleaning my tears.

"Dolores you now there's no way I would let them do something like that to you. I don't want you crying. It's not good for you and the babies. I won't let them take you away. " He said wiping my tears away. He kissed my eyes, nose, cheeks and then my lips.

"I love you. I won't ever let them take you. I love you so much, dolcezza." Rafael said cheering me up.

"I love you too. " I said, enjoying his touch and hugging him. "Thank you, Rafael. I don't know what I'll do without you. "

"That's why you'll never be without me. " He said grinning flashing me his pearly whites.

He kissed once more before pulling me down to the bed with him.

After a while of me continuously drawing circles on his chest I spoke up.
"Rafael can I tell you something?"I asked, I guess it was time to tell him what transpired in the car between Ariel and I.

"Yeah sure. Anything. " He said absentmindedly.

"You know, on the day of that accident, I was in the car with Ariel. " He nodded, I now had his full attention.
