TGIF!!! Hey guys!!! Here's another update!!
Let me know what you think!!! Check out my new book The Affair !!!!

******************************

Sidney, Fernando and Rafael waited not so patiently in the waiting room. Not that anyone minded their anxiousness, the nurses didn't bother looking their way twice when they walked through the corridor. Ride bunch they were.

Dolores went into early labour and was currently undergoing surgery due to the impact of the fall and amount of blood lost.

The baby had just been taken into the hospital for a necessary check up. Fernando and Sidney hoped nothing had happened to their baby. They also hoped Dolores delivered safely. They both wanted to give her an earful for the stupid thing she did and they also wanted to thank her, but what she did was too risky especially considering her condition.

Rafael leaned against the window thinking about every bad report he could get. He was analysing the situation. Why hadn't she just told us?, he thought. He shook his head and ran his hand for the umpteenth time through his hair.

He oddly had a flashback of what happened at the rooftop of the mansion. After Angela had fallen off the building. A helicopter arrived and Dolores was being lifted, to be taken immediately to the hospital. The baby had joined the ambulance.

Rafael knew sooner or later he would be called by the station to give his statement. He hoped it would not be a problem but he was definitely not leaving Dolores' side till she was okay.

He wished he had seen the note sooner but thank the Lord for Pancho. They was also no point crying over spilt milk. Dolores had already made the stupid decision risking her life and the lives of their babies. Was she crazy?

Rafael knew immediately that someone was behind him. He didn't bother turning around because he didn't want to hear anything anyone had to say except it was Dolores was okay. He didn't want any condolences.

Marie carefully placed her hand on Rafael's shoulder unsure of his reaction. She knew he was worrying over Dolores but there was nothing she could say to give him true comfort.

"I know I can't tell you not to worry but we have to have hope. She'll be okay. The babies will be okay. We have to trust God to keep her." Marie offered words of comfort to her son. She was not really sure what would make him feel better but she doubted it would by her telling him to have hope.

When he didn't bother responding to her, she walked away to Pablo. Just then, Sidney walked in with the smiling bundle of pink in her arms. She was happy to have her baby back. She couldn't stop the tears of joy that leaked from her eyes when her baby smiled at her being over excited seeing a new person.

Fernando walked in behind her. He was holding the infant car seat she had been brought in, not that they would be using it again. He planned on giving it to the hospital when they were about to leave.

A smile slowly cropped into his face as he admired his wife and baby. Even if she had been gone for more than a month, he felt like it hadn't happened. That chapter of their life as a family would be closed. Buried and forgotten. Like the woman who jumped off the building. He was sure his kind-hearted would want her to have a befitting burial.

Fernando and Marie had reconciled over the hours of waiting in the waiting room. He sincerely apologised but Marie dismissed his apology and pulled into a crushing hug.

Rafael felt a tear wetting his facial hair which he had failed to shave. Why hadn't they brought news about her yet? He was going crazy. He covered his face with his palms and cleaned his tears. For the first time in his life, he prayed. He prayed Dolores should be alright.
