Chapter 6 part two

I woke up the next morning with a head ache. I really didn't want to deal with today but I guess I had to. I was feeling all depressed and miserable until I heard Carter running up and down the hallway. I guess I'd fallen asleep and he couldn't sleep anymore. 

"Carter?" I called out and walked out of the" room. My smile fell when I saw Gabe standing there holding him.

"How in the heck did you get in here?" I did my best to not freak out. Carter was smiling up at him like there was no care in the world. I marched over and grabed him from Gabe's arms and sighed. 

"A.J told me where the spare key was...." He said as I turned away from him. I was so beyond pissed. What did he think he could break in to my house and think that everything would be fine and dandy? Not stopping I went and placed Carter back in his room and told him to stay here. I could tell he was confused but he did as I said.

"Follow me now Gabriel." I nearly growled at him and stormed down the stairs. I could hear his hesitant footsteps behind me. I was livid and he was about to see the rath of god.Once we were outside on the porch I turned and glared at him.

"How dare you come into MY house without permission! I told you to leave me alone! He is my son, and I will decide what's best for him. Right now what's best for him is for you to not see him. I don't want that girl around my baby. I don't care what you say. It's not happening." I glared right into his eyes. Honestly I could care less what happened to him at this moment. All I care about is my son and that women is not going near him.

"How dare YOU Evan! He's our son OUR son! I want to see him and she's apart of my life."

I rolled my eyes at him. I really really wanted to punch him but I know that would only make it worse. 

"No, I told you. You aren't even on the birth certificate!" I yelled throwing my hands up in the air. I guess I was glad for not putting him on there now. I nearly punched him right then and there but someone walked up.

"Is everything okay here?" I saw Jesse out of the corner of my eye and frowned. I guess the yelling had caused him to see what was wrong.

Gabe glared at him. "Fine, now if you would please leave..."

"Everything's fine now Jesse. He was just leaving." I glared at Gabe and he looked at me like I was crazy.

"This isn't over Evan." He growled and walked away. I shook my head and sighed leaning against the wall. Why did everything have to be so dramatic. Jesse walked up with a smile. 

"So... how you doing?" He had this weird grin on my face that made me break out in laughter. 

"Sorry if we woke you up or anything." I smiled at him brushing the hair out of my face. He shook his head. 

"Nah no worries. Been up for hours." I didn't have a chance to ask why because I heard Carter start to cry. I figured this would happen. 

"Look I gotta go. Talk to you some other time." I waved at him and then ran back inside closing the door so I could go take care of my son. I faintly hear a "Soon I hope" come from behind the door but I won't swear to it. 

Today I would deffinately have to change the spot where I hid my spare key and note to self to not tell A.J where it is. Well unless absolutely necessary.

OMG guys I am soooo sorry for not replying honestly I lost all muse. I haven't been able to write until now. I hope you can forgive me.

So I'm wondering Jesse or Gabe? Who do you think she will end up with?
