Michael and Luke are with me today, they think it'll help us all if we remember Grace and our favourite memories of her together.
And Ashton of course.
Michael thinks the best moment was a jamming session we all did in his garage last Christmas, we sang the All Time Low song 'Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass' and Luke sang lead vocals with Grace, it was so amazing! There's video on my laptop, I'll send it to you Max, let me know what you think?
Luke thinks the best memory is when we all skipped with Ashton and spent the day driving around Sydney, we went to the Arcades, visited the beach, saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie and got matching tattoos saying 'the sky's the limit' because we wanted no boundaries for whatever we would do in life.
My favourite? A strange one but we were both miserable, she had been cheated on by her boyfriend but she didn't care anyway, he was nasty to her. However my long term girlfriend had also broken up with me. At the time we wasn't even friends, we had argued about something pathetic, my girlfriend hated me spending time with Grace and her boyfriend was just possessive, so we'd argued about if our friendship was worth the hassle it caused.
Anyway, Michael and Luke went over to her house, told her everything and told her that I was a wreck.
Which was true, but it wasn't because I'd been dumped, no I was down because I was sure I'd lost Grace over some skank.
But as soon as she burst in my room with a duffel bag of clothes, arms laden with movies and a bag of snacks I knew she wasn't going nowhere.
I had her for life.
Well until they took her away anyway.
