Max,
We celebrated Ashton's 20th birthday today, even though he wasn't here. We spent the day once again in their house. No one's realised or found out yet, so it's a bonus to know our safe haven isn't going to be taken away anytime soon.
We gathered in Ashton's room, played his favourite music, ate his favourite food food and watched his favourite movies as we lounged on his old bed. Just like he would of asked if he were here with us.
(Btw did I mention the house is exactly as they left it? They just upped and left with suitcases and nothing else)
Anyway that's how Ashton would of wanted his birthday celebrated, that's how we've always done it and that's how we'll do it always.
We had nerf gun wars, ate sickening amount of cake and even played truth or dare.
Just as Ashton would have wanted us to.
Happy Birthday Mate, we miss and love you so much x
