Calum - to her
My Gracie,
I remember everything Grace.
I remember absolutely everything, the unfamiliar flashes, the images I didn't know? I remember it all now.
That night isn't just a blur after we argued anymore baby, it's clear as crystal.
Your dad, he caught us didn't he? We fell asleep after everyone climbed out your window teary eyed and left for the night, just as I remembered before but he stormed in your room for round two only to find me in your bed.
He dragged me out Grace, I remember that now. He punched me over and over, screaming at me to stay away.
Then he laughed, he laughed and it was a nasty laugh as he snarled. 'But that doesn't matter anyway now, because tomorrow she'll be gone. A million miles away and good riddance'
Then, and this is why I blocked it out I think, he turned and hit you, then your mother hit you too as your dad turned on me again.
I could take him beating me baby but you? His own flesh and blood?
It disgusted me.
I was about to punch him when Ashton stormed in and punched him square in the jaw knocking him out cold.
Me and Ashton threw him out your room along with your mum as she screamed at us through the door, cursing you both for disappointing them and locked the door after that. We locked the door and barricaded it with your wardrobe to keep us all safe.
Then we all cleaned ourselves up and the three of us fell asleep in your bed, too tired and hurt to discuss what had just happened.
Then when I woke up, you were both gone.
I have only one question baby. He hurt you, so why did you still go?
But the record I remember what we were now, at least where we were at. Together but unofficial to anyone but ourselves for fear of your parents.
Baby, I swear to you if you ever come back, fear won't stop me from calling you mine.
No way.
