"I have this gut feeling that weird places are your favorite places to hang out."

I was startled when I heard a voice coming from the woods. It's a little darker since it's just so early plus the crisp of snow covering the entire leaves adds the creepy feeling. And I can't help but cringe at the thought that someone might be lurking just beneath those thick leaves all along. Maybe being alone on this cold and frozen place wasn't a very good idea afterall.

When I struggle to stand up to my feet, and look at the direction from where the voice came from, I immediately notice a black figure coming to my way.

"So..how was it?" Raspy yet thick voice is nearing from where I am standing.

"Mark?" I mewl. Not knowing if I am right or just seing things.

"Who else would it be?" His face comes into view. And I almost gasp too loud when I saw how good looking he looks on all black attire. His hair is a little damp maybe from the snow while it hang loosely on his forehead. His shirt is black again with a fitted black jeans paired by a black leather high cut boots that closely wrapped by a black lace all around his legs. He looks just amazing and I can't help but look up to him in awe.

"What?" He snapped raising a brow. I can't tell whether he is amused to find me here or just as annoyed as he's always been everything our paths crossed.

I shakes my head and look away, unable to utter a word because of embarrassment.

"What are you doing here all alone again?" He began to sit at the log I was previously sitting a while ago and I'm left with nothing but to just stand there with heated cheeks. Good thing it's snowing so I can blame the redness due to the cold.

I swallow hard before I tried to test my voice. "I'm.. I'm just walking around." My voice is not very co-operative today.

He looks at me with a raised brow and a smirk. "At this kind of whether?" I know he's not buying my lame excuses but who cares? It's not like I needed myself to explain to him.

"Yeah so?" I snaps.

I hear him chuckled and then i saw him adjusting something loosely from his shoulders. Then before I can name what is it, I saw him putting a very large firearm to the ground. I gasps when I noticed the deadly object and strides a few feet away from him. When he noticed my discomfort I hear him chuckles and shakes his head in a mocking way.

"Relax, it's harmless, love." He look up to me with a smug expression.

"You Don't call a thing harmless when it can literally kill people." I snapped and roll my eyes.

"Hey, it's unloaded. I used all of it's bullet earlier." He casually says while shrugging his shoulders.

"You what?" I cringed as my eyes focused on the large gun but then I almost stumble to my feet when I saw something on his side.

"Oh my God!"I gasp and. I can't help but cover my mouth with my hands.

Laying on his right side just near at my feet were 3 lifeless snow birds with blood sprawled on their chest and all over their wings.

"What again?" He yells. He looks annoyed by my expression. Who wouldn't? It's not everyday I get to see lifeless poor birds laying just inches away from my feet. They look so helpless and so awfully..

"Haven't you seen a bird all your life? Your surely doesn't just how the way you reacted!" He frown. Brows furrowing together.

"You are so disgusting! What have you done to the birds. You..you killed them!" I scream to his face while backing away just so I won't see the dead birds near me.

"Obviously since I'm going to eat them." He groans.

Just when I realized what he had just said, my knees grew weak.

"Your sick! How could you.. " I mewl. Unable to say anything loudly. The cold snow just beginning to sink through my shirt. Or maybe what makes it even colder is to see dead birds just on my feet and someone who just announced that he's going to eat them. I wanted to vomit.
