Then I hear him laugh so loud. When I turn to look at him amusement is evident on his green eyes."Really?" I snaps with rolling eyes. I didn't notice that I was definitely holding my stomach and my mouth. So that's it. He was mocking at my sensitiveness.
"Don't tell me you haven't eaten chicken or Turkey? That belongs to birds family. " he wickedly says hiding a smirk."I did..it's just that you ruined my thoughts about chickens by killing those..those pity little birds. Your disgusting!" I whispered waving a hand to the air. I know my face is paler and I may have noticed my lips slightly trembled. And the fact that I was even avoiding to look at the horrible sight really makes me nauseous.
"Your sure to be so sensitive. "He says with a smirk.
I just answer him with rolling eyes as I was trying hard not to drop a look at the lifeless creatures down.
When I glance at him again, he was on his feet while simply tying the three dead birds in a knot. I cringed and shakes my head in disgust.
The coldness of the crisp snow soon soothe my thick Pajama and sweatshirt and I decided to walk away back home.
"Hey where are going?"
I turn around with a raised brow and a furious face.
Moments passed before he realized I was waiting for whatever he was going to say. The reason Why he stopped me.
"Oh, I think..I may have consider your offer before. You know that biography shit and all." He softly calls out looking almost embarrassed.
I couldn't but went back to him with a wide and cheeky grin.
"Really?" I gasp still not believing.
"Yeah. It sounds quiet fun and not so bad afterall. " he simply shrugged his shoulders while trying to buckle the long gun on his back.
"I think.." I'm still trying to find appropriate words to say it.
"Think what?" He snapped.
"I think that's great news! Can't wait to tell.. "
I was stop by him waving a hand to prevent me saying anything.
"Nope. You won't tell anyone about it. Well, not until it's finished since you gotta published it on your lame fucking school books or something." He groan in annoyance as he look at me with a hand in the air.
"It's a school publication thing. And of course it's going to be published " I tried to correct him softly but was welcomed with a raised and furrowed brows.
"Fine. Whatever the shit you call it." He says giving in.
"Wow, thank you. Thank you so much. It really means a lot to me. I mean, because you choose me between your brother..."
"Half brother." He snaps correcting me.
I sigh." Yeah, half brother it is." I shrugged my shoulders with rolling eyes.
"Don't thank me yet. I'm not giving into it for free." His smirk is back again. And I wonder what is up to in his head now.
"So what's the conditions then? " I quickly get his point but whatever the hell it is, I'm willing to gamble. My scholarship to college depends on this. And I'm willing to go thick and thin just to get it.
He didn't answer immediately and began walking near me. I am stunned by the way his eyes sparkles on the misty surrounding and I can't help but stare straight to his eyes as I saw him striding his way to me.
He stops only inches away from and I swallow hard when the lump in my throat started to grow.
"I need you to be my girlfriend."
I almost stumble to my feet when I hear what he just said. Good thing I am standing near a tree, my hands quickly holds it's trunk for support. I stare at him with a wide eyes and a confused expression. Waiting him to quickly say"just kidding". I think this is one of his sick lame games with me.
But few seconds passed when we banter back and forth with our stare with no one faltered first.
"Your..your.not serious, are you?" I hear my own voice squeak.
"Nope." Emphasizing the letter "p".
"Are you.. Why?" I couldn't say anything. He's just kidding right?
"I'm not and I'm not planning to joke around anyone. This is a serious matter for me. I have my own reasons Why I'm doing this." His annoyance is growing more and more clear.
I raise a brow. "Like what reasons?" I eggs him on. I'm so confused as hell.
He look around before answering." Can we not talk about it here? It's cold and I'm freezing. I know you are also. So could we...go somewhere to talk about our agreement?" He muttered with a serious face.
