(Im not asking for too much. But i need votes and your comments. Thanks a lot!)
I'm on my way home after school when my bike got a flat tire. I almost muttered a curse when I saw it's massive cut. I hopped out of it's back immediately and kicked it with my right foot. Grrr! Not today!
Just as I breath out heavily, I heard a car stopped at my front and a guy with a blue shirt got off.
My body tensed when I saw him coming to me wearing a frown face.
"What's wrong with that junk, huh?" He muttered. Brows furrowed while standing on my front.
I roll my eyes annoyed by his choice of words. Well, I know that my bike was totally a "junk" but no need to slap it on my face whenever we met.
"I can help you.." He stated flatly. That made my eyes turn to look at him. He's face was emotionless.
"Really? You wanted to eat me alive earlier in case you forget." I hissed. I brace my self and look at him with hooded eyes.
"That..was purely business, Jenny. Don't take it personally. And it doesn't mean we can't be friends outside school, you know." He said shrugging his shoulders.
I glared at him with a raised eyebrow. Seriously?
"Do you think I'm the bad guy here, Jenny? For pete's sake what were you thinking?" He uttered carelessly while stiffling out a laugh.
"What I'm thinking is that your freaking out when you know I'm a threat. Which by the way was absurd." I rattled out waving a hand in the air.
I expected him to counter back but instead-
"I guess..your right, I did." He slowly bowed his head and his voice almost like a whisper.
"Why? It's not like I'm gonna have it already. Just the possibility-"
"You don't know a thing about how important that is to me, Jenny. I badly need it.." His voice was full of pain, hurt and miseries. And the annoying Ryell that I once knew was replaced with a sad and soft one. That my heart felt a sudden change of views to him.
My throat grew lump and I felt uneasy. I'm not really good in having a heart to heart talk.
"W..why, Ryell? It's not that it's between life and death.." I muttered softly. Not knowing how to approach him anymore. I was so used to us throwing insulting remarks.
"Will you..come with me if I will invite you to dinner Jenny? I mean a dinner to our house tonight. And you will know why I need to be the valedictorian." He looked at me with solemn eyes full of hope and..sincerity?
I stood there frozen. I stared so hard at him weighing whether this was just one of his sick game or what. But I saw none of it. Only sincerity.
"You..are..so..weird..Ryell Jacksons.." I glared at him with wide eyes while shaking head slowly.
I noticed his face shrunk. With a hint of pain. He smiled shyly and bowed his head.
"I know your just gonna say no. With everything I did or said to you.." He sighed. And was about to walk away when I grabbed him by the arm.
He halted and turned around.
"I think..I'm free tonight. If you will tell me where you live then I can-"
"I'm gonna pick you up at seven." He quickly interrupted with a smile.
"O..okay.." I nodded slowly.
He nodded to me back and was about to walk away towards his car when his voice rang.
"And Jenny.." Which turned my gaze to him.
"Thanks.." He yelled. And wave me a hand as he got inside his car.
I waved my hand in respond to him as he slowly drove off.
Just as my eyes transfered it's gaze to the crumpled bike.
"What the..how ungentleman!" I said to myself. Annoyed that he didn't even offered me a ride.
I decided to leave my bike under a tree and just go home walking. It's still early and I don't have to be home yet.
I slowly started my steps and breath inhaling cold faint smell of snowy ground. Everything I saw was still pure white though a tiny sunlight was peeking out beneath the trees lining up on the side of the street.
I pulled my jacket tighter as the chilly wind blew my hair away. I hope summer will be coming soon. I just love watching how the flowers danced-
"You really love walking alone on a frozen ground, don't you?" A deep raspy voice came from the woods.
I leapt and almost stumbled on the ground. The voice sent my bones chilling. Who wouldn't be afraid of a voice who just came out from these odd trees. It's kind of creepy.
And when I turned to look who was it's owner, I was horrified to see a familiar tat guy with green eyes wearing black shirt and black denim jeans. With a long riffle on his back.
I shivered when I saw him striding his way towards me with a side smirk.
"I wonder if that's really your habit or your just really...following me." He muttered nonchallantly as he sat on a dead trunk. The riffle was now on his lap.
My eyes grew wide with shock and horror. The tip of the riffle was pointing at my direction that I thought I'm going to faint from nervousness.
"You..your going to kill me.." And that was not a question but a statement. My face went pale.
I heard him bursting in laughter.
"Are you fucking crazy? I would never do that.. not until when there's still daylight.." He chuckled lightly. And his words were venomous.
"Your a freak! " I intend to yell it to his damn face but my voice was literally dull and trembling while still staring at the riffle.
"Hey relax. It's unloaded. No need to melt in there like I'm some kind of a criminal." He stated with a side smirk.
"Then why are you carrying as deadly as that? Don't convince me with a simple shrug coz it ain't helping me." I wiped moisture on my eyes. I let out a deep sigh when I saw him settling the riffle's tip away from me.
"You won't be out there hunting without a riffle, right?" He exclaimed and wave a hand to the trees where he came from.
"Seriously? A painter went out hunting in the wilds? Where are your paints and brushes then?" I sarcastically snapped at him.
I saw his jaw tenses and clenched his fists. He yanked on to me and grab me with my both arms.
"Don't be sarcastic Jennifer. Though my riffle was unloaded, I could so easily kill you without it..not needing it.." He slowly mouth the words and tightened the grip on my arms.
I swallowed hard almost sounding like a groan. Just then the grip feels like it's soothing..caressing on my skin.
"Not killing you literally. But maybe in my own little pleasure way with both of us enjoying.." He muttered under a breath. His lustful eyes were now latched on my quivering lips.
"Damn that lips.." He softly uttered seductively leaving goosebumps rising on my skin.
