JEN'S P.O.V.

The thick white snow came falling that early of November. I was on my way to the Choco Shop after a stressful school day and was riding on my scooter bike when the tiny white balls dropped on my head and on to my shoulders. Soon enough, the road was all white and foggy. I almost muttered a curse when one of the tires slided on some rough asphalt that I didn't notice because of this white crisp covering the street.

I slowed down and gripped hard at the rake. I have to be at the Shop as soon as possible 'cause I am so damn late for almost half an hour. And this wheather hella freaks me out.

As soon as I was on the front porch of the Shop, I noticed there were few cars lining up on the driveway. I was suddenly frightened by the idea that maybe the Shop was so busy and I was not already there to help.

I hurriedly parked my bike on a space provided for employees. And climbed off on it and rushed to the door. My knees were a little shaken due to the cold and my hands were numb. I rubbed a hand to my face gently and wiped off some excess snow on my dress before I pushed the door open to get inside.

"You are so fucking late! " The deep husky voice came from the counter.

And when I look up to see who it was, I was met by a green haunted eyes.

"Why are you late Ms. Smith? Is this a proper attitude of an employee?" That voice rang once again. And my face flushed in embarrassment. Some of the costumers glanced at my way.

"I..uhm" My voice was very low almost like a whisper.

"Are you sayin' something, Ms. Smith?" He asked brows furrowed.

I felt my cheeks heated up. And my eyes glared at him fiercely. Why was he treating me this way? He's not my boss!

I take a deep sigh before I walked and went to the backroom to get my apron. I don't want to fight with him while we were having costumers. My job is just so important to lose.

"I don't want a fuckin lame employee under my supervision. And if you have any objections to that, feel free to quit. " He followed even on the inside. Damn!

"What's wrong with you?" I hissed. Slightly apalled. Surely, I was just misheard the words.

"Im so fucked up with your shitty attitude! Always running away, huh?" He stated flatly. With sarcasm in his voice.

I stared at him with a confused look. This guy is so strange!

"Lost your tongue again?"

" If...you just shut that foul mouth of yours, then surely we won't be having any issues 'bout my so called "running away",right?" I said to him emphasizing the words slowly in an annoying way.

I saw him clenched his fist while his jaw tenses. And his breath was so rugged as if he was having some controlled temper ready to blast.

" Now, if you'll excuse me? Costumer's waiting." I said in a mocking tone. This guy will definitely put my conserved energy to it's full extent of use.

I quickly walked away before he can counter with mean words. And I hear him cursing with a loud thud of his shoes.

Impatient costumers welcomed me as I gave them their orders of hot Chocolatte. Our new specialty in preparation for the upcoming winter season. I have tasted it earlier and it was no denying that it will be soon be on our best seller list. Aside from serving it hot, we also offered cold chocolatte. Though knowing this kind of weather, I wont think cold one will be sold fast.

After an almost two hours of rushing here and there, I slowly streched my tired arms and legs as I sit on a comfortable chair inside the backroom. I massage my shoulders gently with my fingers and let out a soft groan. Just another tiring day added up on my diary.

I closed my eyes to let my hard breathing straightened.

" You can go home, now." I heard a voice from beside me. And I quickly snapped my eyes open.

"No..its okay Justin. I still have two hours left. "I said as I slowly get up from my comfort zone.

"No baby, you look so fucking tired. And besides, the shop will be close early. Marks havin' some bad mood today." He said nonchallantly. That makes me brows furrowed. He did what?

"W..why? I mean he's not the boss. Wait, where is Mr. Macolle?" I said with a panicked tone. Don't tell me -

" He's leaving town. Hes meetin' up some clients for the area of the expansion of the shop. You know, business deals and all. And since Mark's an owner too, he's obliged to manage the shop while my brother's away. "

"You mean he's gonna stay here for a... while?" I said with disgust. No way in hell were going to stay in the same place!

"Yeah. 'Cause he can't deal with clients, you know. He's such a dumbass in good manners. Ha ha." He said laughing out loud.

I stood there gazing at him with open mouth. I can't believe he's going to be my boss now! We're too attached with hatred and working with him will make my world doomed.
