"Okay." I say nervously. We all grab our coats and shoes and head outside. "Okay let's walk there. I'll stand outside the house and wait til the hour is up." We walk to the house. We turn on Hook street and stare up at the house. Tay, Jamey, and I all take a deep breath, hold hands, and walk through the solid, iron gate. As we reach the top of the stairs, the three of us turn around and look down at Jewls. She waves at us laughing. We turn around and we walk through the big, creaky door."I'm so scared right now." I stutter. "Me too." The other two whisper. "Do we want to stand here for the whole hour or actually walk through the house?" I ask. "Well we have flashlights, pepper spray, and our cell phones, so I say we might as well walk through." Tay states. We all turn on our flashlights and shine them around the entrance.
We all took a step forward and jumped when we heard the door slam behind us. We screamed and turned around. "Well, maybe it was the wind?" Jamey spits out in a 30 second time period. "Yeah, maybe it was." I reply sarcastically. "Come one you two, we can do this!" Tay tries to fill us with confidence. "I guess." I reply.
We all walk into the first room we see. The living room. The furniture in there has rotted and is covered in layers of dust. "Well that's not sanitary." I say cheery. They both look at me with blank faces. I smile. "Let keep moving." I say quickly.
Next, we headed up the long stair case. Every step creaked when we stepped on it. There were 30 short steps, so we went up fast. We reached the top of the stair case. I turned around to ask where we should go, and Tay was missing. "Uhh, Jamey, where's Tay?" I ask nervously. "What do you mean, she's right..." She turned to look at Tay and she wasn't there. "Uhh, I'm not sure. Tay!!! Tay!!! Where are you?" Jamey yelled. "Let's hold hands so we don't get lost from eachother." I say.
We continued to call for Tay but we got no responce. "Let's both text her." Jamey says. "Good idea." I take out my phone and text her. I look up to ask Jamey if we should call her and she was gone. I'm shaking so bad that I almost fall down the stairs. "Jamey!!! Tay!!! Where are you guys!!!" I scream as loud as I can. I bolt down the stairs and open the front door to run out, but right when I opened it, a tall, smokey figure reaches out and grabs me. "Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed as loud as I could.
