Wild Shifters Chapter 7 Taking Chances

Chapter 7

Emily's POV

Once Lyle and Alexis went the vampires smashed threw the backdoors and back windows. They took mom and Jake was able to get into the forest, but I ran upstairs to hide. Even though I was the daughter of a beta, and I'm a wolf, I can still hide. I hid under my bed as quickly as I could. I heard Mom screaming and Jake trying to fight them off." Nnnnooooooo!" I heard my mom scream. I started to cry and tears fell down my cheek. I heard fast footsteps up the stairs and into my room." Where are you my little pretty......, I wanna play with you, and your scent is getting stronger!" It sniffed it way to my bed while I started crawling back. Once it looked under the bed I opened up my window and was about to jump when it caught me." You naughty girl,..... we never got to play yet!" It spat in my face. I sneered and preyed for Alexis an dad to come back." Please help us Alexis." I whispered as another tear rolled down my cheek. With that the vampire grabbed me and went out the window. We landed on our feet when the vampire from the mall came at me. He whipped me across my face and I flew into the tree," hm, stupid wolf, bring her to my chamber and lock her up, torcher her and get her to answer questions, if she refuses, torcher her even more." That is all I heard before someone grabbed me and I passed out.

Unknown POV

I was trying to find the girl in my dreams that was my mate, before the vampires or rogue warriors could,..... and I had no luck so far. Even though I am a wild shifter, I can have a mate like wolfs, so my mate must be a wild shifter too, and every night I dream't of her, she learned a new animal. Wild shifters can also can have powers, and when we have our mate and completed the mating process, we will learn each others powers.I traveled all around the world with my animals that I found and shifted into. I finally came to a town called Lillswood, and I found my mate's scent, but it was faint. I went to a near by pet store and I when I went in,...... the place had broken glass and workers were cleaning it up." Excuse me, what happened here?" I asked one of the workers." Some people were hear a week ago and they attracted something so they started fighting and then they disappeared." The man told me," thank you." I quickly said and ran out the door. Did they gave my mate! I need to find her...., and fast. I started walking when someone jumped me. They tied me up and put me in a bag.

Couple hours later.......

I was still in the sac when the vampire Lazereth ordered his vampires to untie the sac. I was blinded by a crack if light through the trees, and realized that there were about a hundred vampires with him. I was sitting down when I heard that Lazereth had about two or three other people." Remember me,...... witch!" He sneered to the girl, and I could tell that there was an alpha and his beta, but who does that girl belong to? The beta stepped forewords to Lazereth and sneered back," who are you calling witch, vampire!" The beta said, I could tell he was angry now with Lazereth,..... but so was the alpha, Lazereth just sneered and waved at some of his vampires to get something. They picked me up while I tried to struggle free. They brought me face to face with the beta, alpha, and that girl, but I hid my face away. Lazereth then pointed at me and said," do you see this girl, this is your mate and if you don't come with us,...... well I will kill him."After he said that I was shocked and scared of what he just said. She took a few moments to say anything, and my head was still down." I don't believe you!" She blurted out. Before anyone could say another word, Lazereth lifted my head to look into the girls eyes, and I could tell right away that this is my mate.

Alexis's POV

" I don't believe you!" I blurted out, but before anyone could say anything, Lazereth then lifted his head so his eyes met mine. I could defiantly tell that this is my mate that I dream about every night. He then put his head back down and I started running towards him until one of the vampires cut me off. I turned into my snake and pumped my venom into his skin. She screamed in pain and fell to the ground." You'll be dead in about thirty minutes!" I said with a big smirk on my face. Lazereth then stepped forwards until he was about 8 feet away from me." What have you just done!" He yelled in my face. My smirk turned to an evil grin until I answered." I pretty much killed her, and you can't kill me, because I can stop you before you can do that." I said while I spat in his face." Yeah, and how's that!" He sneered at me." Well, lets see here,... I have the power to control any supernatural being on the planet!" I said with a big grin. I could tell he was trying not to shake because he was scared of little old me. He then started running towards me until I moved." Stop!" I growled at all of them, and surprisingly they all stopped." Only the alpha, beta, and my mate can be unfrozen." I said in a loud, but in a commanding tone. They all unfroze and looked at me except for my mate. I looked at him with a sad face that he couldn't see. We all looked at the vampires and started running. My mate had his hands tied behind his back so he couldn't balance. He tripped an fell over a large tree branch, and the vampires unfroze." Nnnnnooooooo!" I yelled. Lyle and the alpha looked back at me." Keep going, I will help my mate, Lyle you need to find Lilith. I will kill as many vampires as I can, see you Lyle." I closed off the link and ran back to help my mate. I got to my mate first and started untying the bonds. They were almost there and I was panicking to set my mate free. I got one hand untied when a vampire launched itself at me,...... when my mate stopped it. I looked up to see my mate with his hand in front and the vampire was in the air and was unable to move. I quickly untied the other bond and got him up." Hi." I said dazed by my mates brown eyes. " Hi." He said back starring into my eyes. Before we could do anything it was too late, and we got captured by the vampires. They put us in sacs again and carried us through the forest.
