Elizabeth's POV

"Thanks Eileen. See you next Saturday" I said as I got into my dad's car. "Hey baby" Anthony said. "Hey Dad". Anthony and I don't really get along very well, mainly because I was the last one they adopted. Lizzie was the first, then Makayla, then Bre, then it was me. I was the child that they never meant to adopt.
I put my earbuds in and turned on my music. Dad listens to the songs he listened to when he was like, 26, and I'm not really a fan of that. Halfway through the car ride home, Eileen texted me.

Eileen: hey girl. So what do you think. Is Bella in the group now
Me: hey. And yeah I guess. Do you think her mom is going to find the earrings?
Eileen: eventually. But Bella's so goody two-shoes that she'll say it was done professionally.
Me: alright. Ttyl

I put the phone down and thought about what we did last night. We cut Bella's hair, did some more things, then when we pulled out the ear piercer, Maddie and Deanna went all nuts and were kicked out of the group. I was really glad, because they weren't really group material.
Then, as I was thinking, Maddie texted me. I ignored it, only because we technically weren't friends. Eileen made that very clear last night after they left.

Deanna's POV

"Anything" I asked as Maddie checked her phone 20 minutes after she texted Elizabeth. She shook her head. I sighed.
"You know what. We don't need them. We'll make our own group" Maddie said. "Yeah but who's going to join. All other girls our age either hang with Eileen, or have their own groups".
Maddie thought for a second, then had an idea. She picked up her phone and texted some people. "Who are you texting". "It's a group chat between me, Ciara, Leah, and Makayla. Bre's got her jock group, and I think she's pretty happy".
I didn't think about that. We still had friends that weren't in any group. Makayla was in a group, but she was kicked out, for reasons unknown. Leah had a group, but they recently broke apart. And then there's Ciara. She's kinda the loner, the last one you would want as a friend, as Eileen said. But she's normally wrong.
"What about Shaylee". "No she's part of Eileen's group. She probably doesn't want anything to do with us.

Ciara's POV

My phone buzzed while I was cleaning out my desk. It was Maddie asking if I wanted to be a part of a new group she and her twin were making. I really wasn't sure. I've always been a loner, the one who will sit in a lone corner with my headphones on. Wes would occasionally join me, but only once or twice a year.
I asked who else would be in the group. And when she said it was her, De, Makayla and Leah, I was excited. They were my closest friends, so making a group with them would be perfect.
Maddie then said Leah and Makayla said yes. All they needed was my yes. I typed yes in capital letters. I was now apart of a group.

Leah's POV

After Ciara said yes to joining the group, Dad called us down for dinner.
Charlie was the first to go downstairs, only because he's the goody two-shoes child. I put my headphones down and walked out into the hallway.
"Leah! You coming". "Yeah Dad. I'll be down in a sec". I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs, phone in my back pocket.
"Leah. Phone please" Mom said as I sat down. I groaned and handed her the device.
"Why can't you be more like your brother. You're always causing trouble" She said. That's when I had had enough. I slammed my hand down and stood up, freaking my dad out.
"I'm done. You might think that I could be like Charlie, but I'm not. I like to make mischief and mess with people. I like being the last one downstairs. Nothing you say or do can change that. This is who I am, and if you don't like it, then I'm leaving".
I grabbed my phone from the table and ran up to my room, slamming the door behind me.
