We drove down to a Chinese restaurant that was small once we stepped inside and I smiled. I never really liked over the top dates like taking me to a fancy restaurant; no thanks. I liked this place though, it was small, not so fancy but it looked bigger from the inside. This place was a buffet, and I was literally in heaven.
Michael and I got seated and we waited for the waiter to come and ask us for drinks, because they usually do.
The waiter, came after a minute or so and I ordered a water as Michael ordered a coke. We stood up and went to go get our food.
Once we came back, Michael spoke. "Hey, we never got any time to finish what happened at the pizza place." He said and bit into a chicken ball. "Oh yeah, I might as well tell you everything now." I smiled as I took a breath.
"So..where do I start?" I muttered to myself and he bit his lip.
It was easy to tell Michael, I told him about my life back in America, how I had an abusive boyfriend and a dad who left when I was young. I told him about my mum's job which made us transfer to Sydney, and that I was glad to have a fresh start.
"I only had two friends back home, and it was rough for the first few years but I eventually met my now ex-boyfriend and I thought that my life was getting better. We went on a couple dates, and then we became official.
"After a while, we started to argue a lot, and he even hit me a couple of times but I stayed with him. He changed and wasn't like the guy I met before. He was all sweet and kind but not under his appearance, he was the second worst thing in my life. I eventually ended things and then I never spoke to him again." I said and finished my second plate of food.
"I'm sorry. It must've been hard to talk about it again." Michael apologized.
"No, I'm honestly fine. Thats my fucked up past and there's nothing I can change about it. But I'm here now so I can make a better life for myself." I said and took a sip of my water.
"We should go back to my place and watch a few movies, well only if you want to-" he said and the waiter came with the bill.
"I'd love to, but I get to pay half the bill." I said and he sighed. "But I wanted to be a gentleman." He pouted.
"Mikey, you don't need to pay for me to be a gentleman. Trust me." I smiled and so did Michael.
Once we payed, and I thanked Michael, we went into his car and drove to his house. "Amber's not home, she went out with Ashton and Luke, so we got the whole place to ourselves." He said and got out quickly before running to my side to open the door. I got out of his car and we walked to the front door, which Michael opened within seconds. "I can make popcorn later if you want."
"Okay, so what movie do you want to watch?" I asked and he sat his keys down on the table. "We can choose off of Netflix in my room." He said and I nodded.
[[hehe netflix and chilllll]]
Once we got into his room, I sat on his bed and watched him as he went to get his x box 360 controller. He laid down next to me and I laid back onto his bed.
We finally decided to watch a horror movie; The Conjuring. I got comfortable laying next to Michael and he even put his arm around me.
During the movie, I he held me close as I covered my eyes at some parts. I get scared really easily and sometimes I wish that I wasn't. "Its okay the movies almost over," Michael said into my ear and pulled me closer to him. I could smell his cologne and I could stay here forever. "You're cute when you're scared." He said and I blushed. Why does he do this to me?
