I open the door to my apartment and see my mother watching TV in her wheel chair. She looks over to me. "Artemis!" she yells rolling over to me. "You've been gone for 5 days! Where were you!?" she said in a panic. I roll my eyes. "I was at the mountain, calm down." I say walking towards my room. "Artemis what would you be doing there for 5 days!?" she raises her voice. "Listen." I sigh. "I'm back now aren't I?" I look at her and then shut the door to my room. This room...was so old. And so lonely. So grey. So quiet. I sit on the edge of my bed and lye down. Putting my ear buds in I stare at the celling. "Your not as strong as you seem." I sigh at the voice. I was getting used to the pounding in my head. I turn to the side facing the wall. I reach out my hand and put my hand on the wall. I think I'm depressed from this song. And I'm okay with this right now. I turn to the other side and glance at the Alice in wonder land poster on the opposite wall. Above the other bed. Where my sister used to sleep. My sister. Cheshire. I turn around again facing the other wall and sigh. I close my eyes and just breathe. "What am I doing?" I whisper to myself. I twittle with the wires to the ear plugs. "Hello Artemis." says a familiar voice. My protective wall had just been built. I sit up and see my sister. She was there. But usally she didn't come here.

"I thought you said you would never come back." I muter. "Well, I'll make an exception for you sister dear!" she says climbing through the window. I lay back down and face the wall again. "What do you want?" I sigh. "Me? Oh I don't want anything. Other than to see you again." I roll my eyes. "What do you want?" I repeat my question. "You know me too well don't you? I want to talk with you." she says. I can hear her sit on the other bed. I turn around. "Is this girl talk? Is that what this is." I say gripping the blanket beneath me. "Sure, if you want to call it that." he says crossing her legs and getting comfortable. "I don't do girl talk." I mumble. "Then lets start." she orders folding her hands. I grit my teeth. "'ll only talk to you if you take off the stupid mask." I cross my arms. "Then take out the ear buds." she argues. I pause the music and remove the ear buds from my ears. She takes off her mask. She looked just like she was still 17. "So, what do you really want." I sigh. "Well first, I have you a present." I furrow my eyebrow in confusion. She stands up and hands me an ear piece. "hear that voice in your head? I can silence that." she smiles. I didn't trust her. "What's the catch?" I bite my lip. "No catch." she says sticking out her hand. After a moment of understanding the situation I grab the ear piece and put it in my ear. I look at her. She sits back down on her old bed. "Now. Lets REALLY talk little sister." she grins. "About?" I grind my teeth together in frustration. "Ahem. Well, I would like to talk about your love life." My eyes widen. I try to remain calm. "I don't have one." I lie. "It's not good to lie artemis." she smirks. I roll my eyes. "Fine. What about it." I look at her. She had the upper hand. "So, this speedster kid right? Flash boy?" she smiles. "Kid Flash." I grunt. "Riiiigggghhhhttt. Anyway. You know what'll happen if Dad finds out." she smirks. My heart beat races. I grip the sheets harder. "Good thing I don't like him." I say. Lies. "Haha, I told you its not good to lie. You better get over this 'kid flash' or else." "So this is girl talk?" I smirk. She smirks back. "He would never find out anyway." I roll my eyes. She leans back and looks at her nails. "What if I told him." she grins. "And why would you do that?" I say tense. "To get on his good side. I wasn't always his favorite child you know." "Yeah, and I guess that's why you left." she snaps at me. "I left for one reason, and you know why." she hisses. "I don't blame you, but you left me. And then you got on MY bad side." "I had no choice." "You always have a choice. And honestly I don't think it was the wrong one. But you left me alone. You disappointed me." I see her eyes get hurt but return back to normal. "I-I couldn't take you artemis!" she raises her voice. "And here we are." I smile. Now I had the upper hand. I stand up. "Its obvious were opposite's. Infact. It's like were not even related, sister." I grin. I can see that my words were daggers to her. She stands up too. "Actually, the resemblance is almost identical, sister." she says defenseful. "That's somewhat true. But it's every girl for herself right? You and I learned that while we were growing up." I sigh. She was speechless. "See, the only resemblance between you and me is our stubbornness. Like how I won't stop liking Wally. But the thing is. Were not alike. I'm not a coward." I smile. She was speechless, and offended. "Now, go off and tell Dad what his daughters are up too. After all, you want to get on his good side right?" I say getting up her face. "Artemis I-" "Get out Cheshire." She was confused. "I'm going to count to 10, and your going to disappear like the Cheshire cat, or else I'll tell Dad myself." I glare at her. She starts to panics. "10,9,8" "Alright Alright! I'm going. But you just better watch yourself Artemis." She says glaring at me while climbing out the window. I glare back at her. "See ya later SISTA!" she smiles and disappears into the night.

I woke up in the morning. I yawn and stretch, doing my normal routine I brush my hair, and put on some clothes. But it felt like something was...wrong. Last night I didn't have good or bad dreams. I just slept. And the house was particularly quiet today. I quietly open my door and slip out of the room. hopefully I would be caught. "Artemis?" I hear my mother voice. "Perfect." I say under my breathe. I turn around and smile at her. "You just got home, where are you going?" she says worried. "Calm down, I'm just going to get...milk." I grin widely and trying to act innocent. "...Ok." she agrees gullibly. "I'll see you soon." I smile walking to the door. "Artemis." she shouts. I look at her. "Don't be gone too long." she looks at me seriously. I feel a bit guilty about what I was about to do, but I have a team. I nod my head and open the door. After shutting it I rush down the hallway and run down the stairs. Around the corner was the 'photo booth'. Which was in reality a transporter to justice mountain. Rush down the side walk I bump into someone. "Sorry." I mutter continuing to walk on. I was in a rush so I didn't have the chance to look at who ever it was. I walk down the alley and slip into the photo booth. "Artemis B07" the computer recognizes.

I was transported to the zeta tubes at justice mountain. "Artemis B07" The computer repeats. I look around at everyone in the gym. They were sparing. Wally walks up to me. "Hey." he smiles. That smile the girl swoon at. "Hi." I mutter. I look at Robin and Jinx sparring. "Why is she sparing?" I mutter. Wally turns his head in there direction. "Oh yeah." "What do you mean Oh yeah?" I ask him. "Well..." he says putting his hand behind his neck. Jinx pins robin to the ground. "Jinx, nice job. Robin. Don't rely on technology." Canary says to them and then looks at me. "Artemis, your back." she smiles. "I have a responsibility to be here." I say looking at Wally. I stare at his eyes. "Good to have you back, Artemis." Jinx says throwing her towel over her shoulder. I grit my teeth for the 67th time the week. I look over to the team in a circle. I walk over to them while wally follows. "Hey." I say then putting my hand on my hip. They give me glances but only show me there backs. I tilt my head in confusion. I look to Wally. "What's wrong?" I ask trying to hide my embarrassment. He still had his hand behind his neck awkwardly. "Yeah, well you know the whole shooting the arrow thing. Maybe you should just give them time." he suggests. I bite my lip. "But that wasn't..." I sigh. "What?" he asks. "Nothing. I understand." I nod my head. "Hey Wall man." jinx says hugging Wally's waist and glaring at me at the same time. Although this made wally look annoyed. "Jinx...we should talk." he says walking to the other side of the room leaving me alone. I felt so awkward. Luckily robin walked up to me. "Hey Arty." he smirks. I roll my eyes at the name. "Don't call me that." I mutter. I look at Wally talking to Jinx. She looked upset. Wally looked cute as per usual. Robin follows my eye contact to them. "What's he doing?" Robin asked confused. "Ahem...nothing. Anyway, nice sparring out there." I smiel at him. "Thanks." he nods his head and then looks at the team behind me. I knew what e was thinking. "Yeah, Wally just told me I should give them time." I sigh. "Ha, don't worry." he says putting his hand on my arm. "Sometimes I want to shoot M'egan too." he whispers. We laugh. I really appreciate Robin being my friend. And maybe if that one vision was of the future, this kid is going to grow up hot. And then I'm going to be a cougar. That made me think. hat if that dream really was the future? I was interrupted m=by Jinx having a tantrum of her stomping off down the hallway. Wally walks back over the 2 of us. Its like these were my only friends. True friends. And one of them I liked. "so Baywatch, how'd that go?" I smirk at him. "Not good but hey, I don't blame her for digging the wall man." he smirks. "Shut up!" I smile pushing him. I smiles back. We look at robin. I think we both forgot he was there. "Why don't you guys just get a room?" he jokes. Me and Wally give him a look that made him walk away. I look to Wally. He looks to me. "Hey! Boy Wonder." I shout at robin. He turns around. "Wanna be sparing partners!" I yell. His face lights up. Wally looked jealous.
