Everything happened so... fast...

I opened my eyes and took in my surroundings. This place was familiar. So familiar.

And that's when I realized. This is the morning. The morning Artemis came charging in the kitchen glaring at jinx. Hmph :). The morning we spared. I remember it well.

Artemis and I's vision were going whack. Like everything was vibrating 1000 times a minute. When things came clearer I started to recognize where we were. It was... it was home.

I think.

"Artemis?" I groan aloud.

"I feel like I just got up from a hangover." she mutters, rubbing her forehead. I could still make out a figure dressed in green.

"How do you know what that feels like?" I ask her with suspicion. "Shut up!" she says hitting my arm. "God, it's only been a few minutes since we're back and you're already hitting me?" 

  "Back from where?" someone asks.

   "Richard!" Artemis yelped, jumping the gun to hug him. He looked surprised at the action. 

 "Why are you acting like you haven't seen me in a millennium?" dick asked. Artemis automatically dropped her arms from him, becoming tense and she looked to me.

 "Was I interrupting something?" he asked with a smirk, raising his eyebrows to imply something.

  "I missed you always meddling in our buisness." I muttered before rushing up to hug him too. Artmeis smirked while joining in as well.

"Ok, I learned my lesson now, you can stop hugging me." Dick stated as we ignored him.

 "... Guys this is just getting creepy now..." he told us. "...GUYS!!!" he huffed, causing us to release him. "Weirdo's." he mutters dusting himself off. 

 "Oh, and Wally, some girl named Jinx is here to see you." he tells me. I look to Artemis and she looks to me. 

"Love to see how you handle this one wall man." Artemis smirks crossing her arms.

Artemis pushed me into the living room, so much that I was now impossible to not see me. 

"Wally!" Jinx yells running up to me and hugging me. This is how tha- this morning started out originally. First she hugs me. 

"I've missed you so much since you left!" she exclaimed nuzzling her head in my chest. Uncomfortable I lightly pushed her off me.

"I-I Missed you too Ji-Jinx." I stuttered. Damn it I was a bad actor. 

"What's wrong?" she asked concerned. 

"Nothing!" I fake smile. 

"I just, haven't seen you in a while. You've grown up so... pretty. I guess I just had to take a moment to take it all in!" I smile lightly to myself. 

 I was really just saying this to piss off Artemis. I couldn't wait to see her face. Might as well be red arrow am I right? 

 "You got a lot... taller." she smiled. "Is it just me, or your jawline is a lot stronger?" she asked, outlining it with her finger. She stepped closer but knowing what was about to happen I proceeded to step back. She gave me a confused look, tilting her head to the side.

  I tried acting through it, do what I normally did, but I simply couldn't do it with Artemis in the back of my head. My feelings had changed since that day...

 "I thought you felt the same way...?" she asked. 

"I-I like someone else." I admitted looking to the left. 

"Who? Last time I saw you, you had a big ..." "That was last time jinx... I was 14. It was just a crush." I tell her. Her smile faded away and she looked behind me to Artemis. "But I - I changed because of you." she muttered with a pout.

"No you didn't." said a deep voice.

I turned around to find Batman with that deep scowl on his face.

  "In fact, we could all say you never changed. Your act with Hive is over. Your friends are all in jail as of now. I'll let you walk out of these doors without handcuffs considering this could be emotional for Wally." Batman said with his deep voice.

I practically snorted at his concern.

"No, go right ahead, I don't mind! In fact, I was about to go make the popcorn." I explained with a smirk. Batman just shrugged as he took Jinx out of the room.

"WALLY WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I'M SORRY IF I CAME ONTO STRONG I'M NOT AFFILATED WITH HIVE TRUST ME!" Jinx assured as she struggled in Batmans grip.

  Artemis waved to her with a smile on her face, "Bye voodoo doll." Artemis muttered.

 "I'LL- I'LL CURSE YOU WITH BADLUCK!" Jinx threatened.

"Hope she can do that from the parking lot." Robin added with a smirk.

"How'd you know she's..." "I'm sorry. You must of forgotten. I'm the 2nd best detective in the world." Robin laughed in response. Artemis ran her hand through his hair, messing it up. 

"Noooo... I think you mean the first!" she smiled. She looked to me and my heart started racing. 

"Hey, did you guys sleep in your uniforms?" Robin asked.

 Me and Artemis shared a look, laughing nervously.

"Long story..." we sufficied simultaneously

Robin shook his head. "I-I don't wanna know." he told us before leaving torwards the training room, leaving Artemis and I alone.

My eyes slowly shifted to hers.

OMG I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A LONG TIME. And yes, I did just leave you on a cliff hanger. Sorry it's short but I needed to update. I've just been thinking. Thank you for everyone who have been voting on my story and reading it. I really appreciate it!
