"Brace your self kid." Batman ordered. I could feel the hardest, most painful pinch coming from my shoulder. I had to grind my teeth together it was so unbarebable. Sadly I think this is the only way to remove a bullet from someone. Luckily I am a speedster though, because then this might have been more painful. "Done." he says placing the bullet in a jar. "SWEET! Souvenire." I smile at the bullet. "You are one... strangely optimistic kid Wally." "I know." I smirk. "I'm sorry about the party." Bruce apologizes. "I'm sorry for brining attention to the whole 'batman situation'." I apologize also. He shakes his head. "I'll clear it up, some how." he says dabbing the wound with alcohol. "SDGHVBJMSBDHVVVV!" I yell. "Sorry." he hands me the jar. "You're good." Batman says handing me the jar. "Thanks." I smile zooming off to the souvenir room. I place the jar on the shelf. Awesome. I zoom to the gym where I had saw the Green arrow earlier. I really needed to talk to him. "Mr. Queen." I say halting to a stop infront of him. I straighten out my shirt trying to look presentable. "Yes?" He says glancing to me with a judgmental facial expression. A smile arises on my face. "I would like your permission to - ahemm... ask your niece out... on a date?" I say with a dry throat. It's all up to him. This could make or break my stakes with artemis. But come on. I'm not actually asking for his permission. I'm going to ask her out, no matter what. Nothings going to stop that. Not even her uncle. I'm just worried about him and me. If he says no and I ask her out anyway I don't think he'll like me anymore. But hey I mean, his opinion doesn't really matter. But I'll be a gentlemen for now. His smile fades away as he stares into my soul. "Your kidding right?" he asks. I shake my head. "No sir." He pauses. "No one's good enough for my niece. You known that right?" he asks. I smile. "I know." He doesn't say anything. "If your going to tell me no, I'm telling you right now. That's not stopping me. I really like your niece and I-" "-There's no one good enough for my niece. But you come pretty dam close to it. I'm just a bit shocked because I thought you hated her." he says confused. "To be honest sir, I did take a bullet for her." FINALLY he smiles. "Forget it. You're better than good." That makes me smile back. "Sooo....?" "Yes, I give you permission." he laughs. "THANKYOU!" I exclaim, sticking out my hand. He shakes it happily. Next thing I know, he pulled me by my the fabric of my shirt, with his face serious... and kinda scary. "Then again, It doesn't matter if I think your good enough, its up to her. But if she does in fact, say yes and somehow, some way, you break her heart... I'll kill your whole family starting with your uncle Barry. Right in the heart so he knows how it feels. Then finally you. I'll slit your throat with an arrow and watch you bleed on the ground." he says in a the most monotone voice. All I could do was nod my head. He releases his grip on me and brushed off my shirt. "Go get em tiger." he smiles. (HAHA, tiger ;P) I nod my head and speed off.

YES YES YES YES YES! For once in my life I'm going to do something I want for someone I want. I hope she says yes. I hope she likes me more then a friend. I hope. Just thinking of Artemis drives me crazy as you can see. Her attitude, even though it's not always a sunny day for her, she's still always moving forward. I'll make sure to make it easier for her, as best I can. That's one thing I will do. I'll change that. 

  I stopped in the door way of the living room. I see Artemis and her long blonde hair. Even from behind you can tell she's gorgeous. When I stop staring at her, I notice she's not alone. She's with speedy. Red arrow. Roy. And... it's like they don't hate each other but in fact, they're liking each others company. Apparently he said something funny because she giggles. GIGGLES. She only did that, around me...? WHATS HAPPENING!??! Did he just steal her from me? WHOAH! Hold up. He didn't steal anything because... she's not... mine. And I guess she won't be now because it just- I can't ask her out now that she's FLIRTING with speedy. I think my heart just broke. And it really hurts, well, it feels numb. It's painful just to see that glisten in her eyes as she's looking at him. Damn, I must have been wrong. She doesn't like me. I should have know better. This is the 100th time I've ... liked a girl and then get rejected. And sometimes I don't even get a chance. Sometimes- come on Wally stop kidding your self. I never get a chance. Artemis? Artemis? I-I. I give up. I give up. I surrender. I back up from the doorway and forget it ever happened. Just forget it. I don't lo- I MEAN like her. I don't like her. I-I hate her. She just another girl Wally. Just another girl. I walk back to my room without my heart and shut the door behind me. You know, it's like instead of getting shot in the shoulder. I got shot in the heart.
