John was in the corner playing with Chloe. They were the perfect father and daughter. I only loved Drew. Drew was the whole package. Handsome, smart, strong. Too bad he was so gullible. At least it gives me an advantage.
The only thing stopping me from having him all to myself is the stubborn boy. Why must he get in the way of us?
"Eliza? Chloe and I are going to the store. Would you like to come?" John said, clearly hoping I would say yes.
"Actually, I have to go talk to someone about their kid. Bad grades and everything." I said lying. If only he knew.
"That's fine." Lies. "Do you need anything there?"
"Yes, I need some more flour to bake banana bread for tomorrow's class." I said smoothly.
"Okay. When will you be back?" He said while picking Chloe up.
"2 hours at the latest." I said while thinking what Drew and I could do in 2 hours.
"That late? Must be a heavy duty student. Which one?" He said suspiciously.
"Um, the Sarah girl. Yeah she was getting an F in some of the classes." I said stuttering. Great. More lies to commit too.
"Mmkay. I'll see you later then." He said believing what I said.
"Goodbye Chloe." I said first pinching her cheek then giving John a kiss goodbye.

I finally made it to Drew's. I'm practically skipping in joy to the door. I knocked on the door twice. Drew answered it.
"Hello Eliza! What brings you here at this hour?" He said in his amazing voice.
"Well Drew, I'm sad to say that I've come here to talk to you about Ben."
