Ben P.O.V. ~new hope y'all like it (;
I saw Amy looking at my like she was seeing a ghost. Oh. Right. I slowly turned to see my mother, bloody and beaten. Is that what they did to her? At first I thought it was a dream until I saw the recognition in her eyes.
"Ma?" I said, my eyes springing hot tears. "Is that you?"
"Ben? But who's the other boy...?" She said, realizing her mistake and disappearing. The ten seconds she was gone felt like a million years. Finally returning with Drake, I ran over to her and hugged her, letting my tears escape and fall onto her gaping shoulder. I can't believe it's really her!

After everyone calmed down, I explained to my mother how I died at the hands of the wicked teacher. That upset her enough that she almost left out of anger to exact revenge, but we calmed her down. Amy still looked pretty spooked from the whole ordeal, but she soon started to warm towards Ma. I almost sobbed when she asked who Sarah was. I told her Sarah was the love of my life, and I wish Ma would've met her before she died. I've never cried this much since Ma died.

After talking for a few hours and catching Ma up on what has happened since her death, she said, "I need to go." It was almost robotic, but filled with emotion.
"Where are you going to go?" I asked looking at her confused.
She looked at me and with a sad smile and said, "I love you Ben. Please, don't worry about me. We will soon be reunited."
"What?! What are you talking about Ma?" Tears were falling down both of our faces. Everyone was silent, watching us with an intense yet solemn stare. Once I took my stare off of them and back to Ma, she started fading.
"MA! PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AGAI-" My voiced broke at the end once she fully evaporated, not finishing the word, and I lost it, leaving behind my only friends.

Once Ben's mother left- er, faded, he lost it, full on sobbing, and ran outside.
"Ben! Calm down everything will be alright!" Sarah said, trying to be calm but on the verge of tears instead. She followed him outside leaving Amy and I will more questions then answered.
"Do you think she went to heaven?" Amy said breaking the long silence between us.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, she sort of just 'faded' and Ben and Sarah don't fade they just run out of the same room. She also learned about why and how Ben died, and maybe since she got her unanswered questions answered, she didn't have any reason to be on Earth, trying to protect her already dead son." Amy said with tears in her eyes. I knew exactly why.
"Hey, don't worry Ame, we'll figure this out soon, and then we can see your mom and our friends again." I said, trying to sound reassuring.
"Yeah, yeah, now get over here and hug me ya big doof." She said smiling and wrapping her arms around me.
"Now that that's outta the way, did you manage to find any food? I'm starved." And literally right after that sentence, my stomach growled. I gave her a lopsided grin, with her responding by rolling her eyes.
"Yes, actually we do have food. Apparently when Ben and Sarah were still alive, Ben planted an apple tree," she gestured to the basket in the center of the table, which resulted in me almost drooling, "and when you disappeared, I picked some." She didn't even finish her sentence because I took a bite out of one the of the juiciest, most delicious apples ever. Or I was just really hungry. Probably the second one.
After we ate a few apples, feeling content enough I sat on the piano bench and started playing. At first it was gibberish and a few scales until it somehow developed into Jesu Joy of a Man's Desiring. Not needing to look at the keys, I played on, feeling undeniably relaxed. It's been a long time since I've had this feeling. I looked back to see Amy had fallen asleep on the table, slightly drooling and looking wonderfully adorable. I picked her up bridal style, wishing I could savor this moment forever. Gently laying her onto the dusty couch, she sighed and mumbled a sleepy 'I love you'. I smiled, my eyes drooping downwards, and gradually fell into a wondrous, deep sleep.
