1923

Mrs. Anderson P.O.V.

I finally made it to Drew's. I'm practically skipping in joy to the door. I knocked on the door twice. Drew answered it.

"Hello Eliza! What brings you here at this hour?" He said in his amazing voice.

"Well Drew, I'm sad to say that I've come here to talk you about Ben."

*******

Ben P.O.V.

"Bu-"

"No buts! You will be missing dinner and you will get up at 4:30 sharp to clean out the horse stables! Am I clear?"

"Yes father." I said with my head hung low in shame. Why must that woman ruin everything!

*******

That's it. I'm done with her! All she's done is harass me, lie to my father, and hurt Sarah! I think it's time to go with plan B.

*******

Once I climbed out of my window, I pulled my pack of food, clothes, and water over my shoulders. Time to walk to Sarah's.

*******

I knocked on the door, waiting for anyone to answer. After some shuffling and unlocking, the door opened and showed Sarah's face.

"Ben! Why are you so late? Did something happen?" She said bombarding me with her worried questions.

"I'm fine. She came to my house and told Drew that I was harassing those bully's! I couldn't even believe her if I tried! I think it's time for plan B." I said, a bit flushed from my little rant.

She sighed, taking in my words. "Okay, but I need to write a note to my parents to tell them I'm going to be fine. And I need to get my things ready."

It's a good thing she's an only child. I had to write a goodbye note to Andy. I hope father won't try anything with him. I walked in closing the door, and looked around her home. She walked upstairs to her room. I'll let her get ready. I can wait. Scanning the room, my eyes landed on a small picture frame. I picked it up, looking sadly at her parents. She looked almost identical to her father. She was in between the both of them, and they were all smiling happily at the camera. If only it were true. Ever since Ma died my father's lost his happiness. Now he's just a big, gullible baby when he's around Mrs. Anderson. And Sarah's parents are never around to notice Mrs. Anderson framing us for other's wrong doings. If only-

"I'm ready Ben." I looked over to see Sarah clearly since I've gotten here. She has some makeup on, not much but some. She in a beautiful flowing dress that shows off her curves.

"Are you just going to stare at me or are we going to go?" She said laughing. I blushed furiously. I set the frame down and opened the door for her.

"Ooh, such a gentlemen."

"Shut up." I said teasingly. We were both grinning at each other. Well, here goes nothing.

******* (Last one I swear)

We finally made it before sundown. I looked to the beautiful gleaming creek, the water making soothing whooshing noises. The birds were chirping, and there was a gorgeous sunset. It's perfect.

I looked over to Sarah to see her looking at the cabin in awe.

"You built this? For us?" She said, not taking her gaze off of it.

"Yes. It took a while but it was all worth it." I said gently grabbing both of her hands as we made our way to our new home.

WOOOOOO! Yes I just brought this back! I almost forgot about it until now! Hope everyone enjoys! :)
