With ears to see and eyes to hear vol 3: Call

The sound of snoring wakes you up.

You sit up a little in bed until you felt some resistance, you see a strange woman's arm draped over your body still holding your hand.

She's fast asleep next to you a mess of black hair resting on the side of the bed.

For a second, you didn't understand what was going on.

Then it all came back. Walking around Ergastulum aimlessly, flipping off the mean old lady. Colliding into Nicolas a tag, being stabbed with a needle by Dr. Theo, getting strangled by Worrick, child nurse Nina explaining your legs are severely damaged and that you where taken advantage of, going crazy getting stabbed again!

Then waking up to this black haired girl saying that she'd take you in.

"What's her name?" You mumbled under your breath, finger pressed to your chin in thought.

"Alex Benedetto." A male cool voice answered, you look up to see that it belonged to the maniacal Dr. Theo. You rolled your eyes.

You cross those hands in front of your chest turning your head in annoyance.

"Oh if it isn't Doctor maniac, are you gonna stick me again to silence me!"

Dr. Theo shrugged, peering at you from his frames.

"Possibly."

You reply with a sigh, hands falling to the bed cover as you picked a hang nail.

"So I'm useless now never to walk.."

"With your left leg maybe, through time and physical therapy but your right leg is pretty much done."

"Done? You can't do anything!" You hear the rise of your voice as you ask for a solution.

He shakes his head after taking a long drag of his cigarette he blows it out.

"We would have to completely restore your spinal cord that would require surgery, cell restoration, does it look like we have the finances to support that type of thing." He says, waving his hand around the dated walls, cracked tiles and old smell radiating in here.

"They may have that at North Gate but not Ergastulum." He claims, taking a long drag.

'I can't believe this is happening to me...'

"Is it possible that I could have been bleeding down there from the impact of the car. A shard of glass flying in there or.."

He puffed out the smoke in a series of circles before saying.

"I don't think any glass was there when I last checked and the accident your describing would be enough to kill you but your still here..."

Faced with the ugly truth you respond to his calculated claim.

"I wish I wasn't.." You felt like your heart was ripped out of your chest that a part of you is gone like a ton of scattered puzzle pieces that used to be a picture.

'All because of our stupid curiosity that cost us or lives. If I knew this would've happened. I would've never left North Gate. Madison, Sydney, where are you!? God, this can't be real.'

"Can I use your phone? I've got to call my parents."

"Nina's using it for buisness right now." He disclosed.

You closed your eyes shut, hoping that when you open them. You'll be in your condo near the pool.

Y/N opened their eyes faced with excited blue ones.
