I'm definitely pushing the envelope with this one so it's a little lengthy this time. And you may hate yourself this chapter. Comment please!

Well... I hope you enjoy!

A skinny rat ran for what seems like a tiny bread crumb in between the cobblestoned streets.

He snatches it, munching on it with his little claws until another rat ten times his size ran behind him trying to take his snack.

'Run little rat! Run like the wind!'

He runs, up the steps behind a brick wall.

'No, I wonder what happened?'

The phone call with your parents threw you for a loop. The mere thought of never getting rescued kept Y/N stationed on the couch awake for two straight days.

You began losing touch with reality.

The Street Rats of Ergastulum became your entertainment deprived of a TV or a personal phone.

Then again, it's not like you have your two best friends to talk to since you have no idea of there whereabouts or even worse whether their still alive..

But you'd rather not dwell on that!

What's most important is wondering if Mr.Skinny rat is going to be caught or not.

You raise yourself higher by your forearms, so you could get a better view of the window looking for any trace of the scuffle.

Y/N stomach growled for the ninth time.

Nevertheless, you never paid attention to it or really anything else for that matter.

You didn't die from the car crash but nothing makes you feel alive anymore your just... existing.

But then again, you've had this problem before, sitting on the roof top with your friends as the sun went down.

Talking about a life outside of their own. Everyone is rich, big houses, big pools, nice cars. The fast life, high societies, you remember wearing an eight hundred dollar pink lace dress, a pair of white five hundred dollar designer pumps, and a white clutch just to go to the book club your mom throws every week.

You would rather hunt with your dad in rugged clothes instead.

You'd always dread going there, because the book club was more of a hook up club. Where moms set up their kids with each other. The moment you arrive, you knew exactly what to expect.

A popular pretty boy, who probably screams like more of a girl than you do. He'll seem like a nice guy wearing his preppy attire, smiling and kissing up to your sweet yet clueless mother. He wins her over prompts. The exchanging of numbers ensues, invites you to a club, rave or house party tries to get you drunk. When that fails, hits on your friend in your face, gets her drunk successfully, and sleeps with her in the back of his car.

You would know this because it happened a week ago and that friend of yours was Madison.

She apologized of course, but in your mind she actually saved you from having to deal with a total tool.
