The Player's Girlfriend

Chapter 7

♣ Alison's P.O.V. ♣

"Why am I doing this again?" I asked Tyler.

Two months have passed since we made the deal or what he calls Operation "Get-bitches-off-my-back-for-at-least-a-year-and-getting-your-first-acting-job". He made a pledge for me which states that 'I, Alison Grace Baskett, will solemnly swear to pretend to be Tyler's girlfriend for a whole year, and would tell no one about it (except for Hailey since I already told her about it) or else I would suffer under a huge consequence'. It was really stupid, but he said that it was necessary.  He even made one for himself which states that 'He, Tyler James Peterson, would give me a leading role in 'My Stolen Heart' and if he fails, he would also suffer under a huge consequence'.

I complained how short his pledge was, and he said that if I wanted to make a new one, I could, but since I am lazy-ass, I just went with my old pledge. We even made a story on how we first met. It was exactly like how we really first met except this time I didn't think he was a stalker or a psychopath. When he heard that I thought he was a killer, he just laughed at me so hard, and he wouldn't stop laughing, and when he gets a chance, he would prank me with a fake knife, and pretend that he's going to kill me which always scares the shit out of me, and I just punch him in return. We also consulted Hailey, she was the only person who knows about the deal, she told us that pretending wouldn't be so hard since we practically look like a couple by just sitting next to each other. She just made me promise not to hit Tyler that much in public because it's not what normal couple's do, which made Tyler happy because he has been getting a lot of bruises. It's not my fault he annoys me all the time, and since Hailey isn't here, I get away by punching him, but since he met Hailey, every time I hit him, he would tattletale to her, and then I'll get a lecture from Hailey.

She was pretty much star struck when she saw Tyler on Skype, which didn't surprise me because she always has a soft side for those who have blue eyes, like me. The three of us are really close friends now because even though I've been here for two months, I haven't met anyone of Tyler's friends. He told me their all in some sort of vacation and they'll be back after a couple of days. The last time I even went out was when I ran out of milk, so I went grocery shopping, but other than that, I've only been in Tyler's house and mine. 

We also made a few rules like Rule #1: We cannot talk about the deal in school (you never know whose eavesdropping). Rule #2: Never lose character (which is pretty basic for acting). Rule #3: Do not date another person even though he/she is not from our school (we have to stay loyal for the whole year).  It's okay for me not to date for a whole year, but I don't know about Tyler. He has never been in a relationship so I still have doubts about him.

"Because we have to make sure you know everything about me." he answered. We were in my bedroom, and for the past couple of days, I've been learning everything about him like his favourite color, food and other stuff like that.

"Then why do I have to take a written exam." I said, flipping through the pages. There were about 5 pages with different categories. Some were 'true or false', 'multiple choice' and an ESSAY. "Why is there an essay?" This is ridiculous!

"Well, I want you to express your feelings for me in writing."

"You mean the feeling of wanting to kill you?" I was really irritated at this point, and you could totally see the amused face on Tyler's face. So, I did what I do best... I punched him on his shoulder.

"Ouch, why do you have to punch me all the time?!" he said as he rubs his shoulder.

"Why do you have to be annoying all the time?" I answered back.

Then he started mumbling some curse words.
